    Linda J. (Hilts) Miller, 57, passed away at home on Monday, November 2, 2009. She was born July 23, 1952, in Niagara Falls, to Arthur and Lois (Credicott) Hilts.Always the proud American, Linda started her career with the U.S. Government in Washington, D.C., for the Department of Defense, after her graduation from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1971. She was currently working at the Niagara Falls Air Base for the 328th Airlift Squadron for the flyers of the 914th.Linda was a former Girl Scout Leader for Niagara County and for the past three years served as a deacon at Riverside Presbyterian Church.She is survived by her husband and beloved partner, Ted Miller, Jr.; sons, Zachary and Keith; granddaughters, Alexis and Alyasia; her mother, Lois; brothers, Ralph and Butch (Tharon) Hilts; sisters, Donna Cody, Dale (Bob) Haseley and Jackie (Robin) Smith; sister-in-law, Sherrie (Ed); brother-in-law, David (Justa) and many nieces and nephews; cherished cousins, Kathy and Dawn and devoted friend, Beth Greaser. Linda was predeceased by daughter, Kelly; her father; brother, Ronnie and step-father, Len Delmar.Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue. Memorial services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in Riverside Presbyterian Church, 84th and Lindbergh Ave., with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in N.F. Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.     Lois D. (Creditcott) Hilts, also known as “Gram,”  passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September  2, 2022 surrounded by the abundance of love she always showed her family, friends, and anyone she knew.

     
    Born on September 3, 1925 to the late Ralph and Clemis (Prue) Creditcott, she was a life long resident of the Town of Niagara, but her heart was always at the lake in Ontario, Canada, where she spent the last 75 summers with family and friends. Lois enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crafts, but her favorite was winning a game of dominos.  She was a member of Riverside Presbyterian Church.

     
    Survivors include her children, Ralph J. Hilts, Donna Cody, Dale (Bob) Haseley, Butch (Tharon) Hilts and Jackie L. Smith; grandchildren, Douglas (Debbie) Simcox, Dawn (Nancy) Simcox, Melissa J. Hilts, Rhonda (Dan) Busch, Staci (Carl) Haseley , Ralph (Stacey) Cody, Zachary (Lyndsay) Miller and Joe Hedund and 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Lois was predeceased by husbands, Arthur ‘Warren’ Hilts and Leonard E. Delmar; a son, Ronald W. Hilts and a daughter Linda J. Miller.

     
    Visitation will be held at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Rd, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 (716-297-9007) on Monday, September 5th from 2:00 - 8:00 pm. The funeral will be held Tuesday, September 6th at Riverside Presbyterian Church, 815 84th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14304 at 11:00 am., with Rev. Laura Norris-Busch officiating.  Friends invited. In Lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at Riverside Scholarship Fund or Niagara Hospice.
