Linda J. (Hilts) Miller, 57, passed away at home on Monday, November 2, 2009. She was born July 23, 1952, in Niagara Falls, to Arthur and Lois (Credicott) Hilts.Always the proud American, Linda started her career with the U.S. Government in Washington, D.C., for the Department of Defense, after her graduation from Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1971. She was currently working at the Niagara Falls Air Base for the 328th Airlift Squadron for the flyers of the 914th.Linda was a former Girl Scout Leader for Niagara County and for the past three years served as a deacon at Riverside Presbyterian Church.She is survived by her husband and beloved partner, Ted Miller, Jr.; sons, Zachary and Keith; granddaughters, Alexis and Alyasia; her mother, Lois; brothers, Ralph and Butch (Tharon) Hilts; sisters, Donna Cody, Dale (Bob) Haseley and Jackie (Robin) Smith; sister-in-law, Sherrie (Ed); brother-in-law, David (Justa) and many nieces and nephews; cherished cousins, Kathy and Dawn and devoted friend, Beth Greaser. Linda was predeceased by daughter, Kelly; her father; brother, Ronnie and step-father, Len Delmar.Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 8622 Buffalo Avenue. Memorial services will be held Thursday at 11 AM in Riverside Presbyterian Church, 84th and Lindbergh Ave., with Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in N.F. Memorial Park Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.
