Gustave O. Ellman, 79, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Fred Thorman, 223 East Felton street. He was born in Germany and had lived
in North Tonawanda 72 years. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Fred
Thorman, Mrs. John Golem and Mrs. Christian Janowsky of North Tonawanda and
Mrs. Norman Arndt of Holland, N.Y. and by a son, Carl G., of Buffalo, 17
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Grainge of
Florida. He was a member of Friedens church and the Order of Maccabees.
The funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. from his daughter's residence with the

MRS. MARY ELLMAN
Mrs. Mary Ellman, 65 years old, died yesterday afternoon at her home on the Ruie road, following a lingering illness. She had been a resident of North Tonawanda and vicinity for many years. She was a member of Friedens church and of the Lady Moccabees. Surviving are a husband, Gustave O.; a son, Carl, Buffalo; four daughters, Mrs. Fred Thorman, Mrs. John C. Golem, and Mrs. Christ Janowsky, North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Norman W. Arndt, East Aurora; a mother, Mrs. Bertha Gawe (sic); two sisters, Mrs. Herman Kirchoff and Mrs. Emma Zuck, Buffalo; 17 grandchildren and one great grandchild. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, Rev. Theophil Manzel officiating. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery.Children:
