    The marriage of Miss Verna L.
    Roggow, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Waldemar Roggow, of 376
    Miller street to Francis G. Trinkwalder,
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
    Trinkwalder of 288 Wheatfield
    street, was solemnized Saturday
    morning, April 23 at 10 o'clock in
    the Sisters' chapel, Keil street,
    the Rev. William Crotty officiating.
    The bride wore a gown of com
    blue net over taffeta and carried
    a colonial bouquet. Miss Margaret
    Graham acted as bridesmaid
    wearing pink chiffon and she also
    carried a colonial bouquet. Mr.
    Melvin Wagenschuetz attended
    Mr. Trinkwalder as best man.
    A reception for 100 guests was
    given at the Elks' club, also a
    dinner, with covers for sixteen at
    the bride's table which was centered
    with a large wedding cake.
    Mr. and Mrs. Trinkwalder are
    taking a motor trip to Florida,
    and will be at home in 52 Christiana
    street after May 10.

    of the bride included Mrs. Harold
    Schultz, Miss Carmen Gosch and
    Mrs. Ernest Hudnutt. the office
    force of the Van Raalte company
    also Mrs. Edward Krieck and Mrs
    George Thomas of Niagara Falls.

    Stricken with a heart attack while
    attending services at Frieden's
    church in Schenck street last night,
    Mrs.Helena Roggow, 65, of 220 Robn.
    street, expired shortly after-
    ward. She was a lifelong resident
    of this city and the wife of former
    Alderman Gustave F. Roggow.
    Besides her husband, she leaves
    a daughter, Mrs. William Albright;
    four sons, Waldemar R., George H.,
    Norman H. and Earl L- Roggow;
    nine grandchildren; a sister, Mrs.
    William Schultz. and a brother,
    Charles Schumacher, all of this city.
    The funeral will be held Saturday
    afternoon at 2:30 o'clock front the
    home with Interment in Frieden's
    cemetery.
    Mrs. Roggow was a member of
    the Frieden's church, the Martha
    Sewing circle and the Women's
    Guild of the church

    Ferdinand Achterberg, 81 years old died yesterday afternoon at his home on the Niagara Falls boulevard at Wurlitzer after a long illness. Besides his wife, three sons, Charles Achterberg of the town of Wheatfield. Ernest and Gustav Achterberg of North Tonawanda, two daughters, Mrs Augusta Luther and Mrs Albert Maertin of the Tonawandas, 28 grandchildren and five great, grandchildren survive. The funeral
    will be held Wednesday afternoon from the late residence- at 1:30 o'clock and a half hour later from St John's church at St Johnsburg. Burial will be in St John's cemetery.

    Mrs. Ernestine Achterberg, 87 years old, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert J. Maerton. 52 Fredericka Street. Born in Germany, she had lived in the town of Wheatfield and North Tonawanda for the past 45 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Maerton and Mrs. August Luther, North Tonawanda; three sons, Charles, Pickard's Bridge and Ernest and Gustav North Tonawanda; 20 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence and half an hour later at the St. John's church, St. Johnsburg. Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate and interment will be in the St. John's cemetery.
