    Allen married HENNING, Gertrude Anna on 16 May 1934 in Lockport, Niagara County, NY. Gertrude (daughter of HENNING, Helmuth A and BRAUER, Ernestine) was born about 1902 in New York; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    The marriage of Miss Gertrude
    Anna Henning. daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Helmuth Henning, Church
    Street, Lockport, to Allan Loftus.
    also of Lockport, was quietly solemnized
    at 10 o'clock on Wednesday
    morning in St. John's rectory, the
    Rev. Dr. Francis A. Clancy, rector,
    officiating.
    The bride wore a gown of pnk
    mousseline de soie over a matching
    satin slip with hat of white lace.
    She carried a Colonial bouquet of
    white roses and lilies of the valley.
    Miss Eleanor Henning, Lockport,
    was her sister's only attendant, and
    she was dressed in blue mousseline
    de soie with hat of pink lace and
    long blue mitts. Her flowers were
    pink roses and blue lupine.
    John Loftus, Lockport, was his
    brother's best man. The bride's
    mother wore an attractive gown of
    black crepe and accessories to correspond.
    Her corsage was composed
    of gardenias.
    Following the ceremony a wedding
    breakfast was given at the bride's
    home for the immediate families.
    Covers were laid for twelve at the
    bride's table, which was decorated
    with spring flowers, and centered
    with a large wedding cake.
    Upon returning from a trip to
    New York, the couple will be at
    home at 287 East Avenue, Lockport.
    The bride's traveling outfit was a
    blue silk suit with brown accessories.
    Among prenuptial parties given
    for the bride was a kitchen shower
    and bridge party given by her sisters,
    Mrs. Harold Volschow and Miss
    Eleanor Henning, both of Lockport
