LOUIS H. GATH
Louis H. Gath, 81, of 40 East Felton street, died suddenly yesterday at the home of Mrs. Gath's sister, Mrs. Louis Schaefer, Runyon, N. J., where he was visiting. The body will arrive at the late residence tonight. Rites will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence and at 2:30 from St. Mark's Lutheran church on Washington street. The Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate. The survivors are: Wife, Louise, nee Ebke; two brothers, Fred and Edward, North Tonawanda, and four sisters, Mrs. Edward Wienke, Mrs. Edward Strassburg, Mrs. Lillian Doebler and Mrs. John Herman, North Tonawanda.

LOUIS GATH
Louis Gath, sixty-seven years old, a well-known Gratwlck resident, died at the General hospital in Buffalo last night, where he underwent an operation ten days ago. He was born in Germany and came to America, locating in North Tonawanda, some fiftyfive years ago. He was a wagon maker by occupation. Surviving are three sons, Fred, Louis and Edward Gath; four daughters, Mrs. John Doebler, Mrs. John Hermann and the Misses Jessie and Grace Gath and one brother, Fred Gath, of Michigan. The body was brought to the family home at No. 46 Felton Street this morning where the funeral will be held on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and a half hour later from the St. Mark's church, on Washington street, the Rev. Martin Hemann officiating. Buiral will be made in Elmlawn.

Louis married KROENING, Augusta in 1870 in Niagara County, NY. Augusta was born in Aug 1849 in Germany; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
