    Church. Old Falls Boulevard.

    Martin's Lutheran Church
    MARTINSVILLE, July 3.—A very
    pretty wedding was solemnised In
    St. Martins Lutheran church at 8
    o'clock 8unday morning when Miss
    Elrthcr Mueller, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Benjamin Mueller, of 1765 Lllwood
    avenue, became the bride of
    Cecil 8trehlow of Hollywood, Calif.
    Rev. Theophllus Bcrner officiated at
    the ceremony and Miss Erma Muller,
    slater of the bride, acted as maid of
    honor. Franklin Hahn, cousin of the
    groom, were the other attendants. The
    church was artistically decorated with
    baskets of flowers. A solo "Bacause".
    wai sung by Eugene Thlele.
    The bride wore a town of yellow
    chiffon and the maid of honor pink
    chiffon. Miss Miller was attired in
    yellow mousscline do sole. All wore
    corsages of bright summer flowers.
    Following the ceremony a wedding
    dinner was served at the home of the
    bride's parents, covers being laid for
    15. Immediately afterwards. Mr. and
    Mrs. Strehlow. left for Hollywood.
    Calif., where they will make their
    home.

    A memorial service will be conducted
    Sunday at 3 p.m. at St.
    Martin's Church, Old Falls Boulevard,
    North Tonawanda, for Emil
    E. Strehlow, 81, who died yesterday
    in Alhambra, Calif, after a
    long illness. Friends and relatives
    are invited.
    Mr. Strehlow's wife died three
    weeks ago.
    They resided in Tonawanda for
    several years before moving to
    California.
    Mr. Strehlow's survivors include
    a son, Cecil of North Tonawanda;
    a brother, August of Tonawanda;
    a sister, Mrs. Martha Hahn of
    Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs.
    Gordon Glassey of Alhambra,
    Calif.; four grandchildren, and
    six great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Minnie J. Strehlow, a former
    resident of Tonawanda, died:
    yesterday in Alhambra, Calif.
    She is survived by her husband,
    Emil Strehlow; a. daughter, Mrs.
    Gordon Glassey of Alhambra;. a
    son, Cecil of North Tonawanda;
    five grandchildren, and six greatgrandchildren.
    A memorial service will be conducted

    A pretty wedding took place at the
    German Lutheran Emanuel Church at
    Morgan and William streets last evening
    when Miss Minnie J. Plau, daughter
    of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Plau of
    Young street, was united in marriage
    to Emil E. Strehlow of Ottawa, Ont.
    Miss Rose 'Plau, sister of the bride,
    was maid of honor and Andrew Schulmei-
    ster was best man. The bridesmaids
    were Miss Pauline Henning and
    Miss Bertha Strehlow, sister of the
    groom, and the ushers were Ernest
    Markeson and Philip Lang. A reception
    was held at the home of the bride.
    Mr. and Mrs. Strehlow will leave tomorrow
    for Ottawa where they will
    make their future home.

    Frederick J. Strehlow, 71 years old,
    died Sunday noon at his home at No.
    100 William street. Death followed
    lingering illness. He was born in
    Germany and had lived in the Tonawandas
    during the past 26 years. He
    is survived by a wife, four sons, Albert
    and Herman of Buffalo, August
    of Tonawanda, and Emil of Midland,
    Ont., and two daughters, Mrs. Philip
    Lang and Mrs. Frank Hahn of Tonawanda.
    The funeral will be held tomorrow
    afternoon at 2 o'clock from
    the late residence and half an hour
    later from the Emanuel Lutheran
    church on Morgan street. Rev. F. O.
    Scholz officiating. Burial will be L
    Elm lawn.

    Mrs. Wilhelmina C. Strehlow, 82
    years old, died last night at the
    home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank
    Hahn, 100 William street. She was
    born in Germany and had resided
    in Tonawanda for the past 40
    years. She was a member of the
    Ladies' Aid society of the Immanuel
    Lutheran church.
    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
    Hahn; three sons, August R., Tonawanda,
    Emil, Alhambra, Cal., and
    Herman, Los Angeles, Cal.; 15
    grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held Sunday
    afternoon at 2.30 o'clock at the
    Hahn residence. Rev. F. O. Scholz
    will officiate and burial will be at
    Elmlawn.
