    On Staurday evening, November
    7th, at 7 o'clock Miss Louise Buice
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
    Buice, 64 Zimmerman street was
    united in marriage to Private Ar-
    thur R. Shamrock, Jr., son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Arthur Shamrock of 15
    Toellner street. The ceremony was
    performed b Rev. Hermann Mil-
    ler in Grace Lutheran church in
    the presence of a large group of
    relatives and friends, the Candle
    Light Service having been used.
    The church was attractively decor-
    ated with vases of yellow and
    white pom poms and palms. Miss
    Jean Hartel, soloist, sang "I Love
    You Truly," and the "Lord's Pray-
    er" and was accompanied at the
    organ by Mr. Elmer Doebler.

    this city, a retired employe in
    the city's Department of Public
    Works and a member of
    Grace Lutheran Church.
    He is survived by his wife,
    the former Esther E. Ziehm; a
    daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Doris)
    Papoi; a son. Arthur Shamrock
    Jr., both of this city; two sisters.
    Mrs. Rose Orga and Mrs.
    Laura Harkness, both of Baltimore,
    Md.; three grandchildren.

    Friends may call Saturday

    Gustave Ziehm, 77 years old, died yesterday at the home of his son, Walter, Ward road, St. Johnsburg. Born in Germany, Mr. Ziehm came to America 46 years ago and had resided in the town of Wheatfield since. He leaves a wife, Helen, nee Balzer; six sons, Herman and Ernest, North Tonawanda; William and Charles, Detroit; Albert, Cleveland, and Walter; two daughters, Mrs. Elroy Kline and Mrs. Arthur Shamrock, North Tonawanda; and 28 grandchildren. Rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence and at 2:30 o'clock from the St. John's church. Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate and burial will be in St. John's cemetery.

    GUSTAVE ZIEHM DIES
    Town of Wheatfield Resident Had Lived Here for Past 46 Years
    Gustave Ziehm, a resident of the town of Wheatfield for 46 years, died yesterday afternoon in the home of his son, Walter Ziehm, Ward road, St. Johnsburg. He was 77 years old and was born in Germany, coming to this country and to Wheatfield 46 years ago.
    Surviving Mr. Ziehm are his wife, Mrs. Helen Ziehm, Wheatfield; six sons, Herman and Ernest, North Tonawanda, William and Charles. both of Detroit, Mich., Albert, of Cleveland, and Walter of St. Johnsburg, and two daughters, Mrs. Elroy Kline and Mrs. Arthur Shamrock, both of North Tonawanda. Twenty-eight grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the home of his son, Walter Ziehm, St. Johnsburg, and at 2:30 o'clock in St John's church, St. Johnsburg, with the Rev. Walter Thiemeck (sic) officiating Burial will be in St. John's cemetery
