Westernville. May 10.The funeral
of Fred F. Shirley was held at the
Presbyterian Church at 2:30 o'clock
yesterday afternoon and was largely
attended. It was conducted by Baron
Steuben Lodge. No. 264. F. & A. M. of
Lee Center, Mr. Shirley being a member
of that lodge. The Rev. 8. A.
Freeman, pastor of the Presbyterian
Church, conducted the church services
and assisted the Masons. Robert Mid-
Ian* of Rome sang 'Abide With Me"
and 'God Will Take Care of You." The
casket was completely sirrrounded
with flowers. There were offerings
from the residents of the village, the
Presbyterian Church, where he was a
deacon. Baron Steuhen Lodge, F. ft A.
M., and Westernville Lodge of the
Maccabees. The" bearers were six
cousins of Mr. Shirley. C. F. Floyd.
John Shirley. W. S. c?iarles. David
and Fred Ptrimore. Interment was
made inthe Westernville Cemetery.
All business in the village was stopped
during the funeral.
