    The marriage of Miss Alice Brooks,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
    E. Brooks, of this city, and Mr.
    Wilson Wallace, son of Mr. and
    Mrs. James Wallace, of LeRoy,
    Nev., was solemnized Wednesday
    morning, February 16, at 11 o'clock,
    at the rectory of Our Lady of the
    Rosary church with this city, the
    Rev. Father Collins officiating.
    The bride was attired in a gown
    of ivory satin with inserted lace,
    sweetheart neckline and long pointed
    sleeves. A fingertip veil was
    caught In a crown of white rhlnestones.
    The bride carried a colonial
    bouquet of pink and white carnations.
    The maid of honor, Miss Dorothy
    Brooks, sister of the bride, wore a
    matching gown of pink taffeta. Her
    pink tiara was of shoulder-length
    with velvet flowers. The maid of
    honor carried a colonial bouquet of
    pink carnations. Mr. William
    Culbert, of this city was the attendant
    of the bridegroom.
    Mrs. Brooks mother of the bride,
    wore a navy blue crepe dress with
    a corsage of daffodils and blue his.
    Mrs. Wallace, mother of the bridegroom,
    was attired In a gown of
    wine velvet and wore a corsage of
    pink roses. The bride's going-away
    suit was of soldier blue gabardine
    with tan accessories. She wore a
    corsage of blue Iris and gardenias.
    The wedding dinner was served at
    1 o'clock at the Cataract House for
    the Immediate families and close
    friends, covers being laid for 24. A
    reception was held in the evening
    from 6 to 9 o'clock In the home
    of the bride's mother.
    After a short wedding trip, the
    bridal couple will be at home in
    Cayuga drive, this city.
    Prenuptial events included a cash
    shower given by Mrs. Brooks,
    mother of the bride, and a personal
    shower given by Miss Dorothy
    Brooks, sister of the bride.
    The bride attended Niagara Falls
    high school and is an employee of
    Bell Aircraft corporation. The
    bridegroom is a graduate of LeRoy
    high school and Cornell university.
    He Is employed as a chemist by the
    Niagara Alkali company.
    Out-of-town guests Included Mr.
    and Mrs.- James Wallace and Mr.
    and Mrs. Homer Mclntyre, of LeRoy;
    Mrs. Hattle Maginn, of North
    Tonawanda, and Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas
    Rauber. of Dansvllle. N. Y. Neil
    Brooks, gunner's mate third class,
    U. S. N.. brother of the bride, was
    home on leave from foreign duty for
    the event.

    J a m e s W. Wallace, 77,
    father of a Niagara Falls resi-
    dent, Wilson Wallace, died
    Tuesday (May 10, 1960) at Medina
    Memorial Hospital after
    a long illness.
    The elder Mr. Wallace was
    a resident of Millville for the
    last 12 years. Prior to moving
    to Millville, Mr. Wallace farmed
    for 35 years at Pavilion in
    Genesee County
    In addition to the son in
    this city, surviving are his
    wife, Mrs. Anna Wallace, Mill-
    ville; and t h r e e grandchil-
    dren, James, Kathelihe Ann
    and Dorothy Ann Wallace, all
    of this city
    Funeral s e r v i c e s will be
    held at 2 p.m. Friday at Me
    dins, with the Rev. E l m er
    Frink, Medina Methodist
    Church, officiating. Burial
    will be in Millville Cemetery.
