    The marriage of Miss Dorothy R
    Tracey and Mr. Leopold J. Matthews
    was solemnized this morning at 10
    o'clock at St. Mary's of the Cataract
    church with the Rev. Patrick
    J. O'Dwyer officiating.
    The bride Is the daughter of Mrs.
    Agatha R Tracey, 490 Twenty-fifth
    street and the bridegroom Is the
    son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Machowciyk.
    1606 Perry avenue.
    Perns and colored gladioli were
    used for the decorations for the
    altar. The musical setting for the
    ceremony was provided by Miss Florence
    Norwich, who sang "The Lord's
    Prayer" and "Ave Maria."
    The bride, who was given In marriage
    by her brother, Mr. Charles
    B. Tracey, wore a gown of shimmering
    ivory satin, designed with
    deep yoke, outlined with lace ruffle
    with rhlnestone trim, and a
    peplum. formed by a similar ruffle.
    The skirt fell In a long train. A
    halo crown of seeded pearls held her
    finger tip wedding veil. She carried
    a prayer book topped with white
    orchids.
    Mrs. John McGhee, sister of the
    bride, was matron of honor, wearing
    a gown of pink marquisette with
    a fitted bodice and full skirt. Her
    poke bonnet, trimmed with spring
    flowers, matched her gown. She
    carried a bouquet of pink roses and
    Iris.
    Miss Arlene Machowcryk, rister of
    the bridegroom, as maid of honor,
    wore a gown of yellow marquisette
    with a fitted bodice and full skirt.
    Her matching poke bonnet was
    trimmed with spring, flowers. She
    carried talisman roses.
    Mr. Vincent Paczynskl was the
    best man and Mr. Hugh Alexander
    Porter and Mr. Philip Savory were
    the ushers.
    The wedding breakfast was served
    at the Red Coach Inn for the wedding
    party and the Immediate families.
    A three tier wedding cake
    topped with a miniature bride and
    bridegroom centered the bride's
    table. Spring flowers were used for
    the decorations.
    A reception from 3 to 5 o'clock will
    be held this afternoon In the ballroom
    or the Inn. More than 100
    guests have been Invited.
    The mother of the bride wore a
    gray gabardine suit with black accessories
    and a corsage of spring
    flowers. The mother of the bridegroom
    wore a suit of navy blue
    garbardlne with a corsage of the
    same design as that worn by the
    mother of the bride.
    Mr. and Mrs. Matthews will leave
    later this afternoon for an extended
    trip which will Include, New York
    City and Montreal. The bride chose
    for travel a suit of black gabardine
    with white accessories and a corsage
    of orchids.
    On their return, they will reside
    at 3604 Sherwood avenue.
