    Jane Elisabeth, daughter of Mr, and
    Mrs. Frank Lonsdale of Gils village,
    was united in maniago to Arthur Gilbert
    of Albion, Monday afternoon, at
    the Presbyterian manse in Center
    street by the Rev. George c. Noetling/
    The bridal couple were attended by
    Miss Florence Lonsdale, cousin of the
    bride, and Charles Gilbert, brother of
    the groom. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert will
    make their future home in Buffalo.

    noon after a long illness at the , .
    home of her daughter. Mrs. Andrew
    Martin, Cayuga Street.
    Mrs. Lonsdale was born in Eng-
    land and came to Lewisston in 1893
    where she married Frank Lonsdale
    who died in 1944. She was an active
    member of the Lewiston Presby-
    terian church servicng as a deacon
    at one time and doing much general
    church work.
    She is survived by three children
    Mrs. Arthur Gilbert, Albion; Mrs.
    Martin and James Lonsdale, both of
    this village; four brothers, Lewis
    Hower, Miami Springs, Fla., Horace
    Howe, St. Petersburgh, Fla.,, Ernest
    Howe, Lockport, and Percy Howe,
    Hamburg; seven grandchildren and
    four great grandchildren.
    The funeral services will be held
    Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the
    Presbyterian church with Dr. George
    H. Best officiating. Interment will be
    in Lewiston cemetery.
