    Richard L. Lamont, Sr. passed away January 27, 2010, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born June 22, 1935 in Lockport, he was the son of Robert and Nina (nee Fallon) Lamont. Richard served in the US Army from 1955 to 1957. He worked for Snedeker's Meat Market, The Butcher Shop and Niagara County where he was a sealer for weights and measures. Richard enjoyed bowling, liked being out and about and going to LaPort's Restaurant and Wagner's Restaurant. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to Gettysburg and Williamsburg.He is survived by his wife, Josephine (nee D'Auria) Lamont of Lockport; father of Lori Lamont, Rich Lamont, both of Lockport, Julie (Mark) Kavanaugh of California and Tim (Julie) Lamont of Wisconsin; grandfather of Justin, Jenna Lamont, Joe, Sadie Kavanaugh, Olivia and Georgia Lamont; brother of Joel Lamont of Lockport, the late Gary (Rita) Lamont and Donna Bennett; also survived by several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 PM. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.     J. Goldie Lamont passed away March 15, 2015 in Niagara Hospice House. Born in Lockport on May 14, 1938, she was the daughter of Joseph and Allene (Ray) D'Auria.

    Goldie baby sat children, enjoyed going on trips to Gettysburg and Williamsburg and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

    Goldie is survived by her children ;Lori (Dave Bloom) Lamont, Richard (Kim Tigani) Lamont, Jr., Julie (Mark) Kavanaugh, and Tim (Julie) Lamont; grandmother of Justin, Jenna Lamont, Georgia, Olivia Lamont, Joe and Sadie Kavanaugh; also several nieces and nephews.

    Relatives and friends may call Sunday, March 22, from 1-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 23 at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
