Stephania "Stevie" (Siejka) Danielewicz, 89, of Lockport, NY, died Thursday, January 28, 2009 at home under the care of Niagara Hospice with her loving family by her side. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 27, 1920 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Ludwicka) Siejka and attended local schools and graduated from LaSalle High School. Stevie was a former member of Holy Trinity RC Church and now a member of All Saints RC Church. She was a Niagara County Supreme Court Clerk for twenty seven and a half years, the Shop Stewart at CSEA and the Niagara Co-Op. She loved to farm and gardening. She is survived by her children, Francis Danielewicz of Lockport, NY, Patrick (Deborah Cieslewicz) Danielewicz of Barker, NY, Gwendolyn (Donald) Hassinger of Lutz, FL, Stephania (Joseph) Ohol and Katherine Danielewicz, both of Lockport, NY, Mary Danielewicz Bryson of Lutz, FL and Anne Marie (Tom) Fredericks of Wilson, NY; grandchildren, Regina, John, Stephen, Joe, Stephanie, Adam, Henry, Michelle, Alexandra, Christopher, Genet, Frank, Sherrie, Patrick and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Casey, Kieran, Kendrick, Kendall, Katherine, Brian ,Jeffery, Kalie, Payton, Aitlin, Taylor , Jacob and Malachias. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frank Danielewicz; brothers, Edward, Alex and Joseph Siejka; sisters, Stella and Isabella Siejka. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME, INC., 319- 24th. St. cor. Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin at 2:30 PM on Monday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 PM at Divine Mercy Parish 24th and Niagara Sts. with Rev. Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
