    Alan P. “Al” Tarnowski, 73, of Cambria entered into rest on Saturday December 11th, 2021, in Wheatfield, NY. Born on July 9th, 1948, in Niagara Falls, NY to his late parents Zygmunt S. “Ziggy” and Ida Belle L. Strablow Tarnowski. Al attended Wilson CSD and was the owner and operator of Al’s Performance and was a prior employee of the Town of Cambria. Al loved racing, he raced at Ransomville Speedway in the 1970’s and was the head tech official at Ransomville and Lancaster Speedways in the late 1980’s and Early 1990’s. He enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren.Surviving are his sons, Ronald (Colleen) Tarnowski and Michael Tarnowski; his grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Tarnowski and special friend and neighbors Tony (Maryann) Cogdill. Al is predeceased by his siblings Carol Harkelroad, Jane Murr, Cynthia Freeman and Sue Timmons.Calling hours will be held on WEDNESDAY from 4-7 PM. at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC. 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville, NY 14131. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private in North Ridge Cemetery.     Margaret A. Tuepah (Wendt), age 93, of Niagara Falls, New York, formerly of Sanborn, was called to her heavenly home on April 21,2018 while at the Elderwood at Lockport facility (formerly called Odd Fellows & Rebekah Nursing Home). Born July 31, 1924 in Sanborn, NY, daughter of the late William and Minnie (Werth) Wendt. Mrs. Tuepah spent most of her life in Sanborn, and attended local schools. In her younger years, she was employed at the former Carborundum Company, was a waitress at the former Schimschacks Restaurant, Bergholz Restaurant, and John’s Flaming Heart. Her final job before retiring, was at the former Harrison Radiator Plant, in Lockport. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, but above all, the quality time spent with her loving family. After retiring, Margaret moved to Niagara Falls. She was united in marriage to Patrick Tuepah, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Pekin, where she was a lifelong member. Mr. Tuepah predeceased her on November 10, 2006.
    Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (John) Eddy of Cambria, NY; three grandchildren, Ronald (Colleen) Tarnowski, Michael Tarnowski, Melanie (Jeffrey) Rick; and three great-grandchildren, Isabella Rick. Nathan and Nicholas Tarnowski. Also predeceased by her son, James (Beverly Baptiste) Tuepah.
    Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, on Wednesday (April 25) from 3-7 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. R. P. Vogeler, on Thursday (April 26) at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 3229 Upper Mountain Road, Pekin. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.

    church, Pekin, on Saturday, August
    11. uniting In marriage Miss Marga-

    ret Wendt daughter of Mr, and
    Mrs. William H. Wendt, of Sanborn,
    N.Y. and Mr. Patrick Tuepah, son
    of Mr. William John Tuepah and
    the late Mrs. Tuepah, of Stirling,
    Ont.
    Preceding and during the ceremony.
    Mrs. William Smale sang "Oh.
    Promise Me," "Because" and T h e
    Lord's Prayer," accompanied by Mrs.
    Walter Koenig at .the organ.
    The altar was beautifully decorated
    with palms, baskets of white gladioli
    and vases of white roses. asters
    and baby's breath.
    To the strains of Lohengrin's Wedding
    March the bride entered the
    church on the arm of her father.
    She were a gown of white satin
    having a sweetheart neckline; long
    puffed sleeves comlng to a point over
    the wrist, and a long flowing train.
    Tiny covered buttons reached from
    the neckline in the back to the
    waist. Her fingertip veil fell from a
    coronet of orange blossoms., She
    curled a white prayer book with a
    lavender orchid on the top and
    white satin streamers. Her only
    jewelry was a single strand of miniature
    pearls,, gift of the bridegroom.
    Miss Pearl Ziehm, maid of honor,
    was gowned in white marquisette.
    Her headdress was a white baby doll
    hat. She carried a colonial bouquet
    of red roses and baby's breath.
    The bridesmaids were Miss Mylrae
    Hahn. Mrs. Alfred Wendt and Miss
    Dorothy Hustead. Their gowns and
    headdress were fashioned on the
    same lines as that of the maid Of
    honor. Miss Mylrae Hahn wore a
    gown of pale blue marquisette and
    a blue baby doll hat. She carried a
    colonial bouquet of mixed flowers.
    Mrs. Alfred Wendt wore a gown Of
    pink marquisette and wore a pink
    baby doll hat. She also carried a
    colonial bouquet of mixed flowers.
    Miss Dorothy Hustead wore a gown
    of yellow marquisette. She also wore
    a yellow baby doll hat and, carried
    a colonial bouquet of mixed flowers.
    Each wore a single strand of miniature
    pearls, gift of the bride to her
    attendants.
    Little four year old Elisabeth
    Wendt was the attractive little flow-
    er g i r l. She wore a plnk taffeta
    gown. Her headdress was tiny blue
    flowers. She carried a miniature
    colonial bouquet of mixed, flowers.
    She wore a tiny gold cross, gift of
    the bride.
    -- Private Donald Rivers, cousin of
    the bridegroom, was the best man.
    Mr. Edmund Wendt, Mr. Alfred
    Wendt and Mr. Gerald Laughlin
    were groomsmen, and Mr .Raymond
    Kroening and Mr. Kermit Hasely
    acted as ushers.
    The bride's mother chose a dress
    of navy blue crepe with matching
    h a t Her corsage, was an orchid.
    After: the ceremony a reception
    was held at the home of the bride
    for 190 guests.
    , Out-of-town guests were present
    from Belleville, Ont.: Stirling, Ont.,
    Geneva, N, Y.; Buffalo; Kenmore
    N. Y.; Tonawanda; East Aurora, N.
    Y. and Niagara Falls, N. Y.
    ' For traveling the bride chose a
    black dress with matching accessories
    and white gloves. Her corsage
    was an orchid. After a wedding
    trip through Canada, the newlyweds
    will make their home with the
    brides parents.

    RANSOMVILLE — Walter
    H. Strablow, 73, of
    Ridge Road, Cambria, a farmer,
    died today (May 8,
    1962) at his home. He had
    been ill for two years.
    Mr. Strablow was born in
    .Lewiston July 3, 1&88. son of
    Charles and Rachael Stra.-
    blow. He was a member of St.
    Peter's Lutheran C h u r c h
    North Ridge, and of the Farm!
    Buearu for 30 years.
    Surviving are his widow,
    Minnie Follow Strablow; two
    daughters, Mrs. Ida Tarnowski
    and Mrs. Marian Phillips,
    both 'of Cambria; a sister,
    Mrs. Ella Pollow, Ransom-
    ville; and two brothers, Ed-
    ward Strablow, .Wilson,
    Fred Strablow, Cambria; and
    seven grandchildren.
    Funeral "services will be
    conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday
    at the Ridge Road home and
    at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran
    Church by Rev. Carl
    Oldach. Burial will be in
    North Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements
    were made at
    Gentle Funeral Home.

    Rd.. died Sunday (March 1,
    1959) at Ransomville General
    Hospital after a month's ill-
    ness. She was the wife of William
    H. Wandt.
    Born in the Town of Wheat-
    field. May 11, 1896, Mrs. Wendt
    was the daughter of the late
    Mr. and Mrs. Fred Werth. She
    was a member of St. Andrew
    Lutheran Church here and a
    charter member of its Ladiei
    Aid Society.
    In addition to her husband,
    survivors include a daughter,
    Mrs. Patrick Tuepah, Lower
    Mountain Rd.; two sisters,
    Mrs. Henry Lieble, Elma, and
    Mrs. Amos Hahn, North Ton-
    awanda; three brothers, Fred
    Werth, Niagara Falls, William
    Werth, Wheatfield, and Edwin
    Werth, Sanborn; and two
    grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be con-
    ducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday
    at the Pike and Jones Funeral
    Home, Sanborn, and at 2:30
    p.m. at St. Andrew Church by
    the Rev. E. K. Jeschke. Burial
    will be in St. Andrew Ceme-
    tery.
