    Donald W. Wilson, of Buffalo, NY, formerly of Newfane, NY, and husband of Jeanette Wilson and the late Jean Marie Wilson, entered into rest Sunday, February 21, 2010 in Beechwood Health Care Facility, Amherst, NY. He was born in Newfane, NY, January 29, 1932, the son of the late James and Viola Hanneman Wilson. Don was a veteran of the US Air Force serving his country from 1952-1956 during the Korean War. He worked for US Postal Service for 28 years as a postal letter carrier in Newfane, NY. Father of Patti (Mark) Sidebottom of Buffalo, NY, Debra (James) Czyrny of Snyder, NY, Michael Wilson, Lisa Rosati, both of Buffalo, NY, Gary (Kathy) Wilson of Lockport, NY and Jeffrey (Gail) Wilson of Sarasota, FL. Brother of Lester (Marion) Wilson of Arizona, James (MaryLou) Wilson of Lewiston, NY and the late Adeline Smith, Genevieve Beers and Lee Wilson. Also survived by 17 grandchildren; two great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY, TUESDAY 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held WEDNESDAY at 11:00 AM in Newfane United Methodist Church, Main St., Newfane, NY. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Olcott, NY.     Wilson, 74, of 2689 Main St.,
    died Wednesday (July 29, 1970)
    at Lockport Memorial Hospital
    after a lengthy Illness.
    Born Jan. 29, 1896, in the
    Town of Newfane, he was the
    son of Fred and A d d le
    (Stockwell) Wilson. A veteran
    of World War I, he was a
    private first class in the 77th
    Division, 307th Infantry Bat
    talion, stationed in France, and
    was cited by the U.S. govern
    ment with the Purple Heart and
    the Distinguished Service Cross
    He retired a few years ago
    from the Lockport Felt division
    of the Carborundum Co. He was
    a member of the Quarter Century
    Club at the felt mill and
    of the Newfane A m e r i c an
    Legion post.
    He is survived by his wife,
    the former Viola Hanneman to
    whom he was married Nov. 1,
    1921; four sons, James Wilson
    of Lockport, Lester Wilson of
    Mesa, Ariz., Donald Wilson of
    Newfane and Lee Wilson of Bar
    Harbor, Wash.; two daughters,
    Mrs. Edwin C. (Adeline) Smith
    and Mrs. Byron (Genevieve)
    Berrs, both of Newfane; a
    brother, Clifford Wilson of
    Mesa, Ariz.; 23 grandchildren;
    two great grandchildren and
    several nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call Friday from
    2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. at the
    Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home,
    where services will be held
    Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will
    be in Lakeview C e m e t e r y ,
    Olcott.

    Wilson, 82, died Wednesday
    (March 7, 1962) at the home
    of her son, Clifford -Wilson,
    163 Lake St. She had been
    ill for the last year.
    Born here Oct. 13, 1879,
    Mrs. Wilson was a daughter
    of Ross and Elida Langton
    Bowker. Her husband, Fred
    Wilson, had owned an independent
    grocery store in
    Young Street for 12 years
    prior to his death in 1947.
    Mrs. Wilson was a member
    of the Golden Age Club here.
    In addition to her son, surviving
    are a sister, Mrs. Alta
    Steers, Phoenix, Ariz., and a
    grandson. Wayne Wilson, Ft.
    Devens, Mass.
    Services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Saturday-at the_
    Hamilton and Clark Funeral
    Chapel by Rev. Ernest Kerrison
    of Exley Methodist
    Church. Burial will be in
    Greenwood Cemetery
