    A resident of Niagara Falls for
    approximately 72 years, John Fred
    Boeldt died last night In his home,
    1620 Lockport street. He was 77 and
    was born In Germany, coming to
    this country when but five years old.
    During his long residence in this
    city Mr. Boeldt was a member of
    the Zlon Evangelical L u t h e r an
    church and a member of the Men's
    society of that house of worship.
    He was also a member of the Niagara
    Falls Exempt Firemen's association.
    Survlvmg Mr. Boeldt are a son,
    Louis Boeldt, of Wilson, N. Y.; three
    daughters. Mrs. Walter Scott, of Niagara
    Falls. Mrs. William Lapp, of
    Lewiston. N. Y., and Miss Jessie
    Boeldt, at home; 'two brothers,
    Charles and Fred Boeldt, both of
    this city, and a sister, Mrs. Anna
    Robinson of Andover, O. Funeral
    services will be held In the home
    Saturday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock,
    with Dr. Arthur H. Schmoyer, Zlon
    Evangelical Lutheran church, officiating.
    Burial will be In Rlverdale
    cemetery.

    Mrs. Elsie M. Boeldt, 58 years old,
    wife of John M. Boeldt. 1620 Lockport
    street, died at her home early today
    after a week's Illness from a complication
    of diseases. The funeral will be
    held from the family home Monday
    afternoon at 2 30 o'clock, the Rev. Her-
    man Brezing officiating. Burial will be
    In Rlverdale cemetery.
    Mrs. Boeldt was born In St. Jacobs.
    Ont.. and came to Niagara Falls 46
    years ago. She was a member of the
    Women's Auxiliary of the Brotherhood
    of Railroad Trainmen and the Ladies
    Aid of the Zion Lutheran church. She
    had a large number of frends in the
    city.
    Besides her husband she is survived
    by one son, Louis, of this city; four
    daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Tefft, of
    Sherwood, Mich., and Miss Jessie
    Boeldt, Mrs. Minnie Stivers and Mrs.
    Anna Lapp, fo this city; one brother,
    Louis Mindel, of Chicago, and one
    sister, Mrs. F. Roll, of this city.

    AUGUST STENZEL DIES
    Former North Tonawanda Hotel
    Man Passes at Daughter's Home.
    August Stenzel, former proprietor
    of the Stenzel hotel tn North Tonnwnnda,
    died Saturday at the home
    of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Roll.
    1523 Whitney avenue, with whom
    he had resided since his retlre-
    ment five years ago. He was 89 years
    old.

    Mr. Stenzel formerly served as
    constable m North Tonawanda.
    where he was In the hotel business
    for 2S years. His daughter is his
    only survivor.
    Funeral services will be held at
    Mrs Rolls homo at 2:30 p m. to-
    morrow, with the Rev. William F
    Save officiating. Burial will be in
    North Ridge cemetery

    Stenzel Funeral Held
    Angola Woman Well Known In
    Niagara Falls and vicinity
    Angola, Oct 17 - The funeral of
    Mrs. Ann Stenzel, wife of August
    Stenzel of this place, who died Tues-
    day afternoon was held from the
    family home here on Friday morning
    at 11 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. Brunt
    officiated, and interment was made in
    Riverdale cemetery, Niagara Falls.
    The bearers were Louis Boeldt, Char-
    les Hes, Edward Hess, Frank Hess,
    William Roll and Charles Roll, all
    grandsons of Mrs. Stenzel.
    Mrs. Stenzel who was 74 year old,
    has been a chair invalid for the past
    10 years, but was forced to her bed
    four weeks ago. She was well known
    in Niagara Falls, Tonawanda and
    Buffalo.
    Besides her husband Mrs. Stenzel
    leaves to mourn her loss two daugh-
    ters Mrs. Elsie Boeldt and Mrs. Min-
    nie Roll of Niagara Falls and one son,
    Louis Mindel of Chicago, Ill, and
    one sister, Willener Hewitt of Ripley,
    Ont.
    Mrs. Stenzel also leaves 13 grand-
    children and 29 great grand children.
