    Wednesday (Aug. 25, 1971) in
    his home after a short Illness,
    A native of this city, he was a
    local financial consultant. He
    was a graduate of the
    of Buffalo and the Harvard
    School of Business Administration.
    He was also
    president, treasurer and a
    director of Greene & Kellogg
    Inc. and Affiliates, treasurer
    and director of Hoelscher's
    Inc., treasurer and director of
    Moss & Sullivan Inc., chairman
    of the board of directors of
    Williams & Marcus Co. of
    Philadelphia, director of D. &
    J. Press Co. Inc., secretary--
    treasurer of Bayard Industries
    Inc., Buffalo China Inc. and a
    consultant to the R. C. Neal Co.
    He was a member of the
    American Management
    Association and the Harvard
    Business School Club of Buffalo.
    He Is survived by his widow,
    the former Ester Schultz; his
    mother, Mrs. Caroline Strebe;
    two daughters, Miss Ruth
    Strebe and Mrs. LaVerne
    (Lois) Kolbe, all of thlscity; a
    son, the Rev. Edward L. Strebe
    Jr., of Las Vegas, N.M.; a
    brother, Norman Strebe, of
    Washington, D.C.; and five
    grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be
    . held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the
    Brunner Funeral Home. The
    Rev. Enno Schmoock will
    officiate.
    Burial will be in Elm Lawn
    Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4
    and' 7 to 9 p.m. today and
    Friday at the funeral home.'

    WILLIAM STREBE DIES
    Lifelong Tonawanda Resident Passes
    in DeGraff Hospital

    TONAWANDA. Dec. 24-William
    F. Strebe, 57, of 452 Morgan street,
    died Thursday night at the De-
    Graff Memorial hospital. He was a
    lifelong resident of Tonawanda and
    was employed as shipping clerk at
    the plant of the VanRaalte Silk
    Mills on Sweeney street for the past
    30 years. He was a member of
    the Immanuel Lutheran church and
    the Men's club of the church.
    Surviving are a wife, Caroline,
    two sons; Edward, Los Angeles, and
    Norman, Alexandria, Va.; two
    grandchildren, two brothers, Emil,
    Eldorado, Ont.,, and Albert, Eliza-
    beth, N.J., and three sisters, Mrs.
    Carl Heppner, Tonawanda, Mrs.
    Albert Clark, North Tonawanda,
    and Mrs. Alma Finkenbeiner, San-
    dusky, Mich.
    Services will be held Monday
    afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the resi-
    dence. The Rev. f. O. Scholz will of-
    ficiate and interment will be in
    Elmlawn.
