RANSOMVILLE - Fred L.
Strablow, 75, of 3314 Ridge
Road, died Saturday (Feb. 7,
1970) at Ransomville General
Hospital where he had been a
patient for four days. He had
been ill for two weeks.
Mr. Strablow was born Feb.
8, 1894, in the Town of Lewiston,
the son of Charles and Rachel
Strablow. He had worked a
farm, for 60 years, retiring 15
years ago. He was a 40-year
member of the Farm Bureau
and a lifelong member of St.
Peter's Lutheran Church, North-
Ridge.
Survivors include his wife,
Alice Wiepert Strablow; a son,
Leonard Strablow, and a brother,
Edward Strablow, both of
Ransomville; also one grandchild
Services will be held 1:45 p.m.
Wednesday at the Hardison
Funeral Home here and at 2:30
p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran
Church, the Rev. David Musall
officiating. Burial will be in
North Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home from 2 to 5 and 7 to
9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

A pretty wedding was solemnized at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. August Weipert,
at Porter Center. Wednesday af-
ternoon at 5 o'clock, when their daugh-
ter, Alice Louise, was united in mar-
riage to Fred Strablow of the Ridge
road, the Rev. John P. Barkow of
North Ridge performing the ceremony
in the presence of upwards of 50 guests.
The wedding was performed in front of
a beautimul arch pf evergreens and
roses and tho rooms, were tastefully
decorated in pink and white.
The bride was attired In white crepe
de chine and wore a veil caught with
orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet
of white carnations. The maid
of honor, Miss Marian Parks, wore pink
Georgette and carried pink carnations.
Herbert Simmons acted as best man.
A reception was held following tho
ceremony, with covers for. 12 at the
birde's table. The table decorations foli
lowed out the color scheme of pink and
white. Mr. and, Mrs. Strablow will
make their home at North Ridge the
coming winter.
