Obituary

Allene W. Horack, of Wheatfield, passed away January 25 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Robert Horack. Loving mother of Judy (Peter) Vogeler, Donna (Frank) Cornell, Diane (Jeffrey) Milne, Allan (Mary) Horack. Dearest grandma of Scott (Nora) Murray, Todd (Amy) Murray, Tracy Lamson, Chad (Heide) Cornell, Michael Milne, Tara Milne, Erica (Bradley) Chandler, & Craig Horack. Cherished great grandma of Heather, Luke, Jacob, Jared, Megan, Connor, Mason, & Tanner Predeceased by her parents Henry and Agnes Hauser, brother Wallace Hauser, sisters Esther Schultz, and Beatrice Hetrick. Allene was a 75-year member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of Adams Fire Company, employed at Spaulding Fiber in Tonawanda in her early years, and was the cafeteria "lady" with the NWCSD retiring after many years from Errick Road School. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30 at 1:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church, Ward Road and Niagara Falls Blvd. Pastor Michael Borgstede officiating. Masks and social distancing required. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church.

Drive died Wednesday
(Jan. 21, 1970) at the. Inter-
Community Memorial Hospital,
Newfane, where she had been a
patient for six weeks. She had
been in ill health for about five
.years.
... Mrs. Hauser was born in
North Tonawanda April 17, 1891
.and had lived in this community
for 30 years. She was the widow
of the late Henry Hauser. She
was a member of the Ladies
Aid Society of St. Peter's Lutheran
Church, North Ridge, and
a charter member of the Adams
Fire Co. auxiliary.
Survivors include three daugh
ters, Mrs. Leo (Esther) Schultz
off this village, Mrs. Robert
(Allene) Horack, North Tona-
wanda, and Mrs. William (Bea-
trice) Hetrick of Ventura,
Calif.; a son, Wallace Hauser of
Saugus, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs.
Elsie Rosebrock and Mrs. Naomi
Stark and a brother, Jesse
Strassburg, all of North Tona
wanda. Also surviving are 11
grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hardison
Funeral Home here, with
the Rev. David Musall of .St.
Peter's Church, North Ridge,
officiating. Burial will be in St.
J o h n ' s Lutheran Cemetery,
North Tonawanda.
Friends may call at the funeral
home from 2 to 5 and 7
to 9 p.m. today.
The family said that contributions
to St. Peter's Lutheran
Church, North Ridge, or the
American Cancer Society would
be acceptable as tribute.

Rites will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of her son, Otto, Nash read, and at 2:30 o'clock from the St. John's church, Ward road and Niagara Falls boulevard. Rev. Walter Thiemecke will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery.
