    BREITENBACH - Walter, 69, of the Town of Wheatfield, Monday (April 1, 1985) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Mr. Breitenbach was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He retired in 1980 after 43 years with Spaulding Fibre Company. He is survived by his wife, Mabel (nee Mittelstaedt) Breitenbach; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Judith) Cribbs, Mrs. Edward (Nancy) Pipalski, both of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Marvin (Sharon) Liedy, Town of Tonawanda; two brothers, Louis (Vera) Breitenbach of Tonawanda, John (Loretta) Breitenbach of Kenmore; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wendt of Sanborn, Mrs. Catherine Pokelwaldt, of Niagara Falls; grandfather of six grandchildren. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.     Mabel B. Breitenbach, 84, of North Tonawanda, died Wednesday (December 25, 2002) in Wedgewood Healthcare Center. Mrs. Breitenbach was born on January 13, 1918 in North Tonawanda to Fred (Emma Voelker) Mittelstaedt. She was the wife of the late Walter Breitenbach. Her three brothers predeceased Mrs. Breitenbach. She was a life long resident of North Tonawanda, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and a member of the Friendship Club. Mrs. Breitenbach is survived by her three children Judith (Thomas) Cribbs, North Tonawanda, Sharon (Marvin) Liedy, Kenmore, Nancy (Edward) Pipalski, North Tonawanda, grandmother of Thomas Cribbs, Cynthia (Herbert) Crossley, Steven, Brian Liedy, Jeffrey (Linda) Papke, Susan (Dann) Nadeau, Edward (Trish) Pipalski, Jr. A lso surviving are several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday only from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 307 Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 AM.     PHILIP BREITENBACH
    Philip Breitenbach, 78, of 96 Robinson St., died Wednesday in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Germany, Mr. Breitenbach came to the U.S. when he was 12 years old and has since been a resident of the North Tonawanda area. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church of Wendelville. Surviving are five sons: Louis, Fred, Henry and Walter all of North Tonawnda, and John of the Town of Tonawanda, four daughters, Mrs. Benjamin Wendt of Sanborn, Mrs. Edward Pokelwaldt of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Kenneth Bayer and Mrs. Earl Bayer of Wendelville; 14 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two brothers, Louis of the Town of Amherst and Adam of North Tonawanda; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Toellner of the Town of Amherst. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St, the Rev. Karl Kindt officiating. Burial will be in Wheatfield cemetery.

    Adam Reitenbach (sic), 82 years old, died this morning at his home, Shawnee road, town of Wheatfield, where he had resided for the last 40 years, coming to America from Germany. He is survived by three sons, Philip, Pickard's Bridge; Louis, town of Amherst, and Adam, Wheatfield; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Toellner, Amherst; 18 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and a brother, William, Wheatfield. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time at the residence. Rev. Andrew Hils of the Salem church will conduct the services and interment will be in the Wheatfield cemetery.

Born in Germany, Mrs. Mittelstaedt had resided in the town of Wheatfield for the past 48 years. She is survived by her husband, Charles; two daughters, Mrs. John Martin, North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Philip Broecker, Wheatfield; two sons, William, Pendleton, and Charles, Jr., Wheatfield; sixteen grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Albert Broecker, Youngstown, N. Y., and Mrs. August Kroening, Wheatfield, and two brothers, William Dall, Niagara Falls, and Herman Dall, Youngstown.
