    Alvin Starck was Pastor at Bergholtz
    Church for 15 Years
    BERGHOLTZ, Sept 1. - Word has
    been received here of the death of
    the Rev. Alvin W. C. Starck, 14,742
    East Jefferson avenue, Detroit, Mich.
    The Rev. Mr. Starck was pastor of
    the Holy ghost Lutheran church, this
    village, for about 15 years.
    The deceased had been in ill health
    for the last four years. He is sur-
    vived by his wife, Mrs. Starck, one
    daughter, Mrs. Ernest J. Scheibert,
    both of 160 Cortland avenue, Detroit,
    and three sons, Martin Starck,
    Schenck street, North Tonawanda,
    the Rev. alvin P. Starck, 3734 Dea-
    dar street, East chicago, Ind. and
    clement Starck, all formerly of this
    village. Mrs. Scheibert, formerly Miss
    Alma Starck, was parochial school
    teacher for a number of years for
    the Holy Ghost congregation.

    Alvin married Emily about 1900. Emily was born about 1874 in MN; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
