Former Health Board
Member Succumbs
NORTH TONAWANDA, July 16
-Charles F. Schumacher, 81, a life-
long resident of this city, died at
his home, 238 Miller street, yester-
day. A former member of the
Board of Health, Mr. Schumacher
was a charter member of the Live
Hose company and a member of
Electric city Lodge, IOOF, and the
North Tonawanda Fireman's asso-
ciation.
He is survived by a daughter,
Mrs. Alvin Strassel; a sister, Mrs.
William Schultz, both of North
Tonawanda; a son, Leo C., and two
grandchildren, of Tonawanda.
Services will be held Thursday
at 2 p.m. at the home, with the
Rev. Herman B. Miller officiating.
Interment will be in Elm Lawn
cemetery.
