    November 10. 1930 He is survived'
    by his wife, Evalian (nee Marcks),
    his daughter. Mrs. Arthur H Sy of
    North Tonawanda, N Y two sisters
    and three brothers, Mrs. William
    Claude, Herman and Gustave Pless
    Of Wolcottsburg. Charles Pless of
    Buffalo. Mrs Arthur Beakman of
    Lockport. Funeral services will br
    held from his lale residence Thursday
    afternoon, Nrnrmber 13th, at
    2:30, Interment will be made In
    Trinity Lutheran Cold Springs cemetery.

    Ernest married MARCKS, Evalian in 1901 in Town of Royalton, Niagara County, NY. Evalian (daughter of MARCKS, Frederick C and STOCK, Margaret) was born in 1877 in Wolcottsville, Town of Royalton, Niagara County, NY; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Charles Pless, aged 82 years, a former
    resident of Wolcottaburg, died
    this morning at the residence of his
    daughter, Mrs. Arthur Beakman, No.
    76 Erie Street, from ailments due to
    his advanced age.
    The deceased had been residing In
    Lockport since the death of his wife
    several years ago. His surviving family
    includes two daughter, Mrs. Beakman
    and Mrs. William Claude of the
    Rapids ;also six sons. John of Cambria,
    William, Herman and Gustave
    of Wolcottsburg, and Ernest of Buffalo,
    besides sixteen grand children
    and one great grandchild.
