    CLEVELAND, OH — Patricia A. Fechner, of Ransomville, NY, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013, in the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.

    She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 12, 1939, a daughter of the late George Strachan and Josephine (Edward) (Delduce) Strachan Mehls.

    Mrs. Fechner graduated from Stella Niagara and from the University of Buffalo. She was a manager at both Beir's Department Store and later with the City of Lockport, in the Finance and Taxation Department.

    Mrs. Fechner was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Zonta Club.

    She was the wife of the late John E. "Jack" Fechner, who died in March of 2009.

    Mrs. Fechner is survived by one son, Michael G. Fechner of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Jacqueline P. Fechner of Lockport, NY and Cynthia M. (Michael) Sepielli of Ransomville, NY; two grandchildren, Danielle and Brandon Lazeration; also several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Strachan.

    The family will be present on Tuesday from 5-8 PM, at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road, Ransomville, NY, with the Rev. James R. Bastian officiating. Memorials may be made in her name to Immaculate Conception Church. Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
