    NORTH TONAWANDA—Mrs. Amalia B Strothmann,
    76. of 1446 Ruie Road, mother of 15, died Saturday
    (June 23, 1961) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital
    after an illness of six weeks. She was the widow of
    Rev. William H. Strothmann. a Lutheran' minister who
    held pastorates in several area churches prior to his
    death in 1947.
    A native of Altamont.Ill.
    Mrs. Strothmann made her
    home in this area for about
    50 years. She was a member
    of St. Paul's Lutheran
    Church here.
    Surviving are seven sons,
    Reinhold and R.u b e n
    Strothmann, this city; Rev.
    Otto F. Strothmann, Middleport;
    William Strothmann,
    Sanborn; Klemens
    Strothmann, Seymour, lnd.,
    Daniel Strothmann, Indianapolis,
    lnd., and Henry
    Strothmann. Murphysboro,
    Ill., and eight daughters,
    Mrs. Ruth Goerss, Lockport.,
    Mrs. Esther Schreiber
    and Mrs. Martha Butz,
    Tonawanda; Mrs. Naomi
    Blue. Highland. Ill, Mrs.
    Renata Hellmann. Worden,
    Ill., Mrs. Christine Stucke-
    meyer, Altamont, Ill, and
    Mrs. Dorothea Eggert and
    Mrs. Magdalene Stoelting,
    both of Sanborn.
    Also surviving are a
    brother, Louis Ziegler
    Mason, Ill., 37 grandchildren
    and 19 great grandchildren.
    Friends may call at the
    Pike and Jones Funeral
    home. Inc., in Hoover Road,
    Sanborn, where the family
    will be present from 2 to 4
    p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
    Funeral .services will be
    .conducted at the funeral
    home at 2 p.m. Tuesday by
    Rev. Enno Schmoock. Burial
    will be in the St. Andrew
    Cemetery in Pekin.
