HOEFERT - Minnie (nee Rohde) Hoefert, 82, of 298 Niagara St., North Tonawanda, died Friday (May 8, 1964) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was the widow of former Police Chief Frederick A. Hoefert. Surviving are two sons, Herbert W. of North Tonawanda and Wilbert C. of Gainesville, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Kurt (Adeline) Osberg of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Walter (Florence) Reinhard of Amherst, Ohio, and Mrs. Glenn (Alma) Wardell of North Tonawanda; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one sister, Mrs. Max Yensan and four brothers, Herman, Henry, William and Charles Rohde. Mrs. Hoefert was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church of Tonawanda and the Spanish American War Veterans ladies' auxiliary. Friends may call at the Hilliard Funeral Home Inc., 147 Delaware St., Tonawanda, where services will be Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. David Lubba will officiate. Interment in Trinity Cemetery, Grand Island. Memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund of Evangelical United Brethren Church. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Minnie married HOEFERT, Fred August Carl in 1900.
