NORTH TONAWANDA - Norman E. Koepsell, 43, of 16 15th Ave., died unexpectedly Monday (Feb. 26, 1968) at his home after suffering a heart attack. Firemen were called to the house and administered oxygen. He was pronounced dead by Coroner Oscar Bell. He was a lifelong resident here and was employed at the city water pumping station. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Lillian Hoefert; two sons, Norman Koepsell Jr. and James Koepsell, and three daughters, Kathleen, Nancy and Deborah Koepsell, all at home; two brothers, Charles Koepsell Jr., Sanborn and Chester Koepsell, this, city; seven sisters, Mrs. Norman Parks, Niagara Falls, Mrs. George Westcot, Rochester, Mrs. Harold Brumley, Mrs. Rudolph Arbiter, Mrs. Vernon Gabel, Mrs. Matthew Sarzyniak and Mrs. Carl Lebrenz, all of. the Tonawandas. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. A. W. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be in St.. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery

ADERMAN - Lillian (nee Hofert) (Koepsell) Aderman, 53, of the Town of Tonawanda formerly of North Tonawanda, Sunday (May 18, 1980) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church and was the wife of the late Norman Koepsell. She is survived by two sons, Norman Koepsell, Jr., and James Koepsell; three daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Krueger, Mrs. Nancy Miller and Miss Debra Koepsell; her son-in-law, James Krueger, all of the Town of Tonawanda; one brother, Kenneth A. Hoefert; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Helena) Reischel, Mrs. Pearl Howard and Mrs. Violet Armol, all of North Tonawanda; two grandchildren, Kellie Ann Kreuger and Joseph Miller. Friends may call Monday 7 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc., 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda where services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Charles W. Koepsell. 54 years old, 8
Wheatfield street, died yesterday at
the DeGraff Memorial hospital after
a short illness. He had lived in
the town of Wheatfield. where he
was born, and North Tonawanda
all his life. He was a member of
the Remington Rand Social club
and Friedens Evangelical church.
Surviving are seven daughters.
Mrs. Mabel Parks of Niagara Falls,
Mrs. Pauline Brumley, Mrs. Mildred
Hall. Mrs. Lillian.Prescott and the
Misses Lillian. Beatrice and Audrey
Koepsell, all of the Tonawandas:
three sons. Charles, Jr.. Chester and
Norman. North Tonawanda: six
grandchildren, two sisters. Mrs. Edwin
Susty, North Tonawanda, and
Mrs. Otis Case, Olcott, and three
brothers. William, North Tonawanda,
Frank. Hudson Falls, N. Y.,
and John, St. Clair Shores, Mich.
Rites will be held Friday afternoon
at 2:30 o'clock from the residence.

officiate and burial will be in
Friedens cemetery.

MRS.LENA KOEPSELL
Mrs. Lena Koepsell, 46, years old, died this morning at her home in 96 Wheatfield street after a lingering illness. Born in North Tonawanda, Mrs. Koepsell, a lifelong resident, was a member of Friedens Evangelical church. In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Harold Brumley, Mrs. Robert Hall, Lillian, Violet, Beatrice and Audrey of the Tonawandas and Mrs. Norman Parks of Niagara Falls and three sons, Charles, Jr., Chester and Norman of this city. She also leaves twosisters, Mrs. Albert Gauda of this city, Mrs. James Bampton of Buffalo and a brother, William Greenburg of North Tonawanda.

HOEFERT - Lt. Fred W. Hoefert, 63, of 1143 Nash Rd., North Tonawanda, died Tuesday ( September 27, 1960) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born on Grand Island, N. Y., and had resided in North Tonawanda most of his life. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and the North Tonawanda Policemen's Club. He served with the North Tonawanda Police Department for 34 years. Survivors include his wife, Marion (nee Jendrian) Hoefert; six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Helena) Reischel, Mrs. Lanny (Dorothy) Miller, Mrs. Kenneth (Pearl) Howard, Mrs. Norman (Lillian) Koepsell, Mrs. Stanley (Violet) Armol and Mrs. Theodore (June) Kasprzak, all of North Tonawanda; two sons, Kenneth A. Hoefert and Douglas D. Werth, both of North Tonawanda; 21 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Paula Wilke, Lakeland, N. J., Mrs. Sherman Loud of New York City and Mrs. James Lillis of Buffalo, and three brothers, Henry, Frank and Herman Hoefert of North Tonawanda. Mrs. Sara M. Hoefert, 45, of 1117 Nash road, died this morning in the DeGraff Memorial hospital. Born in the town of Wheatfield, she had resided in the Tonawanda and vicinity all her life She is survived by her husband, Fred Hoefert; a son, Kenneth A.; five daughters, Mrs. Robert Reischel, Mrs. Melan Miller and the Misses Pearl, Lillian and Violet; a father, Albert Schultz; a sister, Mrs. Edward Moritz and three grandchildren. Rites will be held Saturday at 2:30 p. m. from the residence. The Rev. Carl Frankenstein will officiate. Burial in Elmlawn

Death of Aged Man Unexpected
Christian William Greenburg of Payne avenue died suddenly at his home late last night at 6 o’clock at the age of 67. He is survived by his wife Minnie, three sons, Charles, William and August, and three daughters Mrs. Lena Kepsal, Mrs. Minnie Butler, and Mrs. Tena Bampton, of North Tonawanda. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the house and from the German Lutheran church on East Washington street a half hour later. Burial will be in Sweeney cemetery on Payne avenue. Death was entirely unexpected, Mr. Greenburg having worked up to Tuesday noon on work being done by the city on Oliver street.

Mrs. Christina Greenberg, 74 years old died yesterday afternoon at her home on Payne avenue. She is survived by three sons William, August and Charles Greenburg; three daughters Mrs. Albert Gauda, Mrs. James Bampton and Mrs. Charles Koepsell, 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 o’clock from the late residence and a half hour later from St. Paul’s church in Gratwick. Rev. August Elberbach officiating. Interment will be made in Sweeney cemetery.

He was the husband of the late Emma Fogel Schultz, and father of the late Sarah Hoefert and William Schultz. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Moritz of North, Tonawanda; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Ziehm and Mrs. Anna Warblow, both of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Hilda Desmore of Lockport; three brothers, Herman and Charles of Lockport and Rudolph of Chicago; seven grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Schultz, 61, died yesterday at
her home, Niagara Falls boulevard
near St Johnsburg. She was a lifelong
resident of Wheatfield.
Surviving are her husband, Albert
O. Schultz; two daughters, Mrs.
Fred Hoefert and Mildred Schultz;
her mother, Mrs. Helena Vogel, and
seven grandchildren, all of Wheatfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday
at 2:30 p. m. at the home. The
Rev. Theodore Mayer will officiate.
Interment will be in Sweeney cemetery.
