A pretty wedding took place at the
rectory of the Sacred Heart on June
2, at 9 o'clock, when Miss Marie A.
Dolan of North avenue, became the
bride of Walter Stahl of Cleveland
avenue. The Rev. Leo Glynn performed
the ceremony. The bride wore a
blue chiffon gown with hat to match.
She carried an arm bouquet of pink
roses.. Miss Mary Shanahan. was her
bridesmaid wearing a gray chiffon
dress with hat to match. She carried
an arm bouquet of yellow tea roses.
Howard Stahl was best man.
A wedding breakfast was served at
the home of the groom's parents on
Cleveland avenue to about 30 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stahl left on a
short wedding trip through Canada.
Among the pre-nuptlals were a variety
shower given by Mrs. M. Pender
gast, a stocking shower given by Mrs.
Roger St. Maurice, a variety given by
the Press Girls Union No. 80, a vari-
ety shower given by Miss Mary Shan-
ahan, a linen shower given by Rose

Wolcottsvllle, Oct 10. - Mr. and Mrs Fred Stahl were called to Niagara Falls Thursday by the death of Mr. Stahl'a brother. Herman Stahl was the son of the late Martin Stahl. Herman Stahl left Wollcottsvllle 32 years ago where he held a position with the American Sales Co., until 3 months ago. when he was taken ill. He was 52 years of age and he leaves his wife, three sons, William, Howard and Walter, two brothers. Charlie Stahl of Pendleton Center, Fred Stahl of Wolcottsvllle and one sister, Mrs Fred Marshall of Lockport.

Herman married METCHER, Josephine Emilie Louise in 1896 in Niagara County, NY. MRS METCHER DEAD
Amelia R. Metcher, of No 647 Elmwood avenue, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital. Besides husband she is survived by four sons, Frank, Frederick, William, and Albert, and one daughter . Mrs. H. Stahl, all this city. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon a t 2.30 from the family residence and at 3 o'clock from German Lutheran St. Paul's Church. The Rev. Mr. Nemeschy will officiate and the body will be buried in Oakwood.
