Engineer Dies
Daniel A. Sullivan, 1637 Cleveland
avenue, a locomotive engineer
for the New York Central system
for the last 39 years, died early today
at Memorial hospital after
a lengthy illness.
Solemn Requiem Mass for Mr.
Sullivan will be sung at Sacred Heart
church at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday
after 9 a.m. services at the Rhoney
Funeral home. Burial will be in
Gate of Heaven cemetery.
Mr. Sullivan was born in New
York City. He served for three
years in the U. S. Army after which
he came here to work with the New
York Central.
In this city, he was a member
of the New York Central Veterans
association, the Sacred Heart Holy
Name society, the North End Demo-
cratic club and the Brotherhood of
Locomotive Firemen and Engine-
men.
Surviving are his wife, Mary, four
daughters., Mrs. Lester Gillman.
Mrs. Robert Considine. Miss Janet
Sullivan and Miss . Joan Sullivan;
four sons. Henry. Daniel A. Jr.,
Paul and Vincent Sullivan: two brothers,
David and John Sullivan, this
citv: two sisters. Mrs. Annie Logan,
Rochester, and Mrs. Helen Sullivan.
Astoria, L. I. He is also, survived
by five grandchildren, this city.
