NORTH TONAWANDA - Herbert P. Forth. 71, of Shawnee Road. Town of Wheatfield, died Saturday (March 6, 1965) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield and was formerly employed by the Wurlitzer Co. for 51 years, retiring three years ago. Survivors include his widow, the former Ida Schultz; six sons, Carl Forth, Lockport. Edward Forth, Sanborn, LeGrand, Herbert Jr.,Paul, and Ernest Forth, all of this city ; a daughter. Mrs. Earl (Janet) Grosskopf, and a brother, Raymond Forth, both of this city. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Brunner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Ida Forth Dies At Age 71
Mrs. Ida M. Forth, 71, of 4607 Mapleton Road, Town of Pendleton, widow of Herbert P. Forth who died in March of 1965, died unexpectedly Tuesday (Oct. 17, 1967) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda. Mrs. Forth was stricken with a heart attack at the home of one of her sons and taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Born May 12, 1896 in the Town of Porter, she was a daughter of Ernest and Fredericka Schultz. She was a resident of the Town of Wheatfield for more than 50 years, and had lived at the Mapleton Road address for several years. She was a member of Beach Ridge Free Methodist Church. Surviving are six sons and a daughter, Carl Forth of Lockport, LeGrand, Herbert Jr., Paul and Ernest Forth, all of North Tonawanda, Edward Forth of Sanborn and Mrs. Earl (Janet) Grosskopf of Tonawanda; three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs of Appleton, Mrs. Winifred Harrod of Barker, Mrs. Minnie Mcintosh of Tonawanda, Ernest Schultz of Newfane and Rudolph Schultz of Appleton; also 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pike & Jones Funeral Home, Sanborn, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow, and Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Beach Ridge Free Methodist Church where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. The Rev. C. Russell Vincent will officiate. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery.

Cerebral Hemorrhage Proved Fatal to Town of Wheatfield Farmer
NORTH TONAWANDA. Feb. 23. - William Forth, 68 years old, died suddenly yesterday at his home on the Schultz road, town of Wheatfield. Coroner J. E. Helwig gave the cause of death as cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Forth was apparently in the best of health when he retired. He had been chopping wood on his farm yesterday. Mrs. Forth heard her husband gasping for breath but he died before a physician could be summoned. Born in Germany. Mr. Forth had resided in Wheatfield for th« last 53 years. He is survived by his wife, Anna; four sons, Edward. Tonawanda; Herbert and Raymond, Wheatfield, and Elmer. North Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs. Kempton Briggs, Tonawanda; nine grandchildren and. two sisters, Mrs. Fred Rockwood. Cambria. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 3:10 o'clock at the home. Burial will be in the Wheatfield cemetery.

SHAWNEE, July 12. - The funeral of Mrs. Hannah Forth, widow of William Forth, was held Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kempton Briggs, of Tonawanda. Mrs. Forth had been in good health and suffered a heart attack while at her nephew's home in Wilson. She had spent most of her life on a farm here. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Briggs, and four sons, Edward, of Tonawanda, Herbert, of the Shawnee road, Elmer, of North Tonawanda. and Raymond, of Pekin, and twelve grandchildren. Burial was in Shawnee cemetery.

Mr. Carl Forth, aged 83 years of age, died this morning at his home in the Shawnee road. The deceased is survived by one son, William Forth and two daughters, Mrs. Fred Rockwood of Wilson, N. Y., and Mrs. James Riley of Martinsville. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the late residence and at 2:30 o'clock, from the Baptist Church at Shawnee. Interment will be made in the Shawnee cemetery.
