    SOMERSET, Aug. 5.—A retired
    barber and gasoline station operator.
    William G. Swann, 69, of the
    Quaker Rd., died yesterday (Aug.
    4. 1955) in Cape Vincent of a
    heart attack.
    Accompanied by his wife, the
    former Eva Brown, Mr. Swann left
    Wednesday for the Cape on a fishing
    trip.
    Mr. Swann was bom Sept. 21,
    1885, in Wilson. Before his retirement,
    10 years ago, he had operated
    his business and early in life
    he had been employed in Niagara
    Falls.
    Surviving, besides his wife, are
    two listers, Mrs. Florence Herbert,
    Rochester, and Mrs. Roy Kenyon.
    Barker; and a brother, Frank
    Swann, Newfane.
    Services will be held tomorrow
    at 2 p.m. at the Hood Funeral
    Home in Barker. Burial will be in
    West Ridgway Cemetery.

    BARKER, Feb. 25—James Swann,
    82. retired baker, died Saturday at
    the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy
    Kenyon, to the Village.ot Somerset.
    He had been ill for- some months.
    He was a native of England but had
    lived to Somerset for the past 30
    years, coming here from Wilson. He
    formerly resided in Cleveland. He
    was an honorary member of the Wilson
    Masonic lodge.
    Funeral services were held at 3:30
    o'clock yesterday afternoon at the
    home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kenyon.
    The Rev. William.J. Partington, pastor
    of Somerset union Methodist
    Episcopal church, officiated. Burial
    was In Somerset cemetery.
    Surviving are four sons and two
    daughters, Harry and Frank, of Wilson,
    Charles, of Barker, William, of
    Somerset, Mrs. Harry Herbert, of
    Rochester, Mrs, Roy Kenyon, of Somerset.,
    also id grand children and
    14 great grand children
