    Herbert R. Aiken, 53, of 96
    Slayton Settlement Rd., will
    be held at 2 p.m. Monday at
    the Gaul Funeral Home. Mr.
    Aiken suffered a fatal heart
    attack Friday (June 17, 1960)
    while driving an empty school
    bus.
    The Rev. Clarence E. Gee,
    D.D., of Wrights Corners Presbyterian
    Church, will officiate.
    Burial will be in Wrights
    Cornets-Cemetery.-—
    Mr. Aiken was stricken en
    route to Lockport Friday after
    discharging a group of students
    at Royalton-Hartland
    Central S c h o o l . The bus
    crashed Into a tree in Mountain
    Rd. just west of Peet St.,
    Town of Royalton.
    Born in Lockport Oct. 8,
    1908, Mr. Aiken was the son
    of the late Richard and Clara
    Richards Aiken. He operated
    a farm in Slayton Settlement
    Rd. until his retirement in
    1958. For the last four years,
    he operated a bus in the Roy-
    Hart district for the Ridge
    Rd. Express Co.
    Survivors include his wife,
    the former F l o r e n c e E.
    Swann; a son, Herbert R. Aiken
    Jr., Lockport; three daughters,
    Mrs. Herbert Reed and
    Mrs. Robert Wemple, both of
    Olcott; and Mrs. Robert
    Branch, Lockport; three
    brothers Stacy and Raymond
    Aiken, both of Lockport, and
    Elton Aiken, Buffalo; two sis-'
    ters, Miss Florence Aiken and
    Miss Grace Aiken, both of
    Lockport, and 13 grandchildren.

    Dies at Wilson
    EAST WILSON—Harry J. Swann,
    64 years old. died last evening at
    7:30 o'clock at his home on the
    George Plumb farm, Town Line
    road! after heart disease suffered
    for the last year. Funeral services
    will be held Saturday afternoon at
    2 o'clock at.the home. The Rev.
    Mr. Olessner, of Lyndonvllle. will
    officiate. Interment will be in
    Somerset cemetery.
    Mr. Swann was formerly a baker
    at Wilson. He was born In Trenton.
    N. J., but had resided In this vicinity
    for the last 20 years.
    He Is survived by his wife. Mrs.
    Bessie Swann, at home; four daughters.
    Mrs. Herbert Alkcns, of Newfane.
    MLss Bessie Swann, of Rochester,
    Miss Lavlnia Swann. of
    North Tonawanda. and Miss Wlnnifred
    Swann, at home; four sons,

    BARKER, Feb. 25—James Swann,
    82. retired baker, died Saturday at
    the home of his daughter, Mrs. Roy
    Kenyon, to the Village.ot Somerset.
    He had been ill for- some months.
    He was a native of England but had
    lived to Somerset for the past 30
    years, coming here from Wilson. He
    formerly resided in Cleveland. He
    was an honorary member of the Wilson
    Masonic lodge.
    Funeral services were held at 3:30
    o'clock yesterday afternoon at the
    home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kenyon.
    The Rev. William.J. Partington, pastor
    of Somerset union Methodist
    Episcopal church, officiated. Burial
    was In Somerset cemetery.
    Surviving are four sons and two
    daughters, Harry and Frank, of Wilson,
    Charles, of Barker, William, of
    Somerset, Mrs. Harry Herbert, of
    Rochester, Mrs, Roy Kenyon, of Somerset.,
    also id grand children and
    14 great grand children
