    OBSERVE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY—Mr and Mrs Albert
    Schultz, of 169 Eighty-first street, observed their golden wedding
    anniversary this week despite the fact that Mr Schultz is a patient
    at Memorial hospital. He will return to the home of his daughter.
    Mrs. William Thompson, of 1362 Linwood avenue the latter part of
    this week to join Mrs. Schultz. residing there
    Mr. and Mrs. Schultz were married 50 vears ago in Bergholtz and
    have lived all of their married life in the what was formerly known
    as the Village of La Salle. Mr Schultz before retiring was with
    the Carborundum company for 25 years.
    To join in the observance of their golden wedding anniversarv
    were the following daughters Mrs Edward Flatau. Linwood avenue,
    Mrs George Swift. Pierce avenue. Mrs George Golf. Newfane. Mrs.
    Curtis Bennett. Cleveland. Ohio Mrs Sam Truswell. Mt. Julian. Ont .
    and Mrs. William Thompson, of Linwood avenue
    Mr. Herbert Schultz. of Sanborn, was the only son present. Mr
    Norman Schultz, a son, was killed in service. Also present were 16
    grandchildren.

    William A. Schultz, 87 years old. of
    No 67 A street, Echota, for many
    years an employee of the Carborun-
    dum company, was fatally injured at
    5:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon when
    struck by a Falls-La Salle trolley car
    in Buffalo avenue near Gill erect. He
    died at 8 o'clock last night in Memorlal
    hospital from brain concussion
    and shock.
    Mr. .Schultz was returning home
    from work and started to cross Buffalo
    avenue to get onto the Packard .
    road and thence go to his home in A
    street. He did not see the trolley car
    approaching and was struck and
    hurled to the pavement. Two men In
    an automobile that was passing took
    him to the hospital. Coroner Harry
    R. Emes is investigating the accident.
    Surviving Mr Schultz are his wife,
    Caroline; four sons. Albert of La
    Salle, William, of this city and John
    and Fred, of this city: and five daughters.
    Mrs. G. Kelly. Mrs. Walter Meyer,
    and Mrs Theodore McVittie. all
    of this city, and Miss Alma Schultz,
    at home, and Mrs. Fred Brooks, of
    La Salle
    The funeral services will be held at
    the home. No. 67 A street. Echota.
    Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and at
    2:30 o'clock from the St. Paul's Lutheran
    church, the Rev. Edward Nemeschy
    officiating. Burial will be in
    the St. Paul's cemetery, Bergholtz.

    Carolyn Schultz, La Salle, Dies
    Mrs. Carolyn Schultz, widow of the late W. A. Schultz, of La Salle, died late last night in La Salle following a long illness. Mrs. Schultz is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Fred Wruck of La Salle, Mrs. Walter Meyer, Mrs. George, Koelle, Mrs, T. McVittie and Alma Schultz. of this city, and three sons. Albert and Jacob, of this city, and Fred Schultz of Rochester. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Koelle,
    Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 from St Paul's Lutheran church. The Rev. Mr. Nemeshey will officiate. Burial will be in the Bergholtz cemetery.
