Kenneth M. Bugenhagen, age 78 of Wheatfield, NY, entered into rest unexpectedly at his residence on November 14, 2017. Born in Lockport, NY on April 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Marvin and Agnes (Hassan) Bugenhagen.
Survived by his loving wife Judith, of 55 years; children Sheryll Fromwiller, Michael (Maria) Bugenhagen, Linda Cooper, and Donald (Diana) Bugenhagen; seven grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Melissa, Amanda, Jessica, Victor, and Heather; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Jack. Predeceased by sister, Carol Barber. Survived by brother-in-law, Ronald Barber and several nieces and nephews.
Ken was employed at Battenfeld Grease & Oil in North Tonawanda until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in the southern tier, hunting, gardening, wine making, beekeeping and reading westerns.
Friends are invited to join with the family, on Saturday (November 18), from 1-3 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield, to celebrate Ken’s life. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Flight or Tri-Community Ambulance Service.

and Mrs. Ralph Meyers,
Townline Road, and the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin
Bugenhagen, Lockport
Road.
GIVEN in marriage by
her father, the bride was
gowned in satin peau de
soie which featured a bouf-
fant skirt with a crushed
cummerbund below the
waist and back interest
with cabbage roses and
train.
A pearl crown caught her
fingertip illusion veil and
she carried a cascade of
white roses.
MISS LINDA Meyers was
maid of honor for her sister
attired in a ballerina-
length gown of blue peau
de soie with a matching
headband and circular veil.
Melvin Masters attended
the bridegroom as best man.
Ushers were Richard Mey-
ers and Glenn Warblow.
A reception was held at
Shawnee Fire Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Bugenhagen
will make their home in
Sanborn
