MRS. PARKER DIES
Aged Ransomville Woman Passes at
Home Following Short Illness
RANSOMVILLE, July 29. Mrs.
Frances Parker. 76, died Saturday
night at her home in West Main
street, after a brief illness which followed
a paralytic stroke. She is survived
by a son, Dwight Clapsattle. of
Youngstown; two daughters. Mrs.
David Canfleld and Mrs. Ruth Tate,
both of Ransomville; a brother. Andrew
Smith, of the Randall road; 12
g r a n d c h i l d r e n and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3
p. m. tomorrow at the home of her I
daughter, Mrs. David Canfleld, on j
t h e Wilson-Ypungstown road. Burial
will be at Hosmcr cemetery. The Rev.
Ernest Sergei will officiate.
Mrs. Parker was a member of the
P o r t e r Center M. E. church. She was
a daughter of Louis Smith, a Civil
War veteran, and Maria Smith. She
was born in Michigan and had spent
mast of her life here. She was the
widow of Christopher Clapsaddle and
George Parker.
