NORTH TONAWANDA - Mrs. Mattie L. Quester, 75, of 599 Woodward Ave., widow of Herman Quester, died Wednesday (June 14, 1961) at the Sunshine Nursing Home, Gasport. She was a member of St. Peter's American Lutheran Church and Augustus H. Crown Chapter 619, Order of the Eastern Star. Born in Charleston, S.C., she had lived in this city for the last 40 years. She is survived by five sons, Louis B. Thiele, Eggertsville; William L, James W., Guy and Edward Thiele, all of this city; a daughter, Mrs. May Ashtdn, of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Eva Dantzle, of South Carolina. She' also is survived by 15 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Wattengel Funeral Home from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Rev. Merton L. Baseler will conduct the funeral service at 4 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery

North Tonawanda, April 24 (Special)
- William A. Thiele, 78 years old, died
at his home at No. 268 Zimmerman
street last night. Mr. Thiele was born
in Germany but spent about 50 years
of his life in Niagara county. His
widow, four sons, William Thiele and
Herbert Thiele of North Tonawanda;
Barney Thiele of Buffalo and Emil
Thiele of Utahville, S.C., and one
daughter, Mrs. August Sattleberg of
Martinsville, survive. Funeral on Fri-
day.
