NORTH TONAWANDA — Mrs.
Christine Myrtle. 59. of 70 Rum-
bold avenue, died Thursday night
at the DeGraff Memorial hospital..
S h e was a member of the First
Baptist church. Born In Carbon
Run. she had resided In North Ton-
awanda the last 13 years.
Mrs. Myrtle is survived by her
husband. John R.;; four daughters,
Mrs. Charlotte Redfield and Mrs.
Harriet Carlson, of Brockway, Pa.,
and Mrs. Herman Krehan and Mrs.
Carl Mittlestaedt. of North Tonawanda:
nine sons. James S. Hood,
of Elbon, Pa., Charles M.. Archie H.
and Walter M. Hood, of North Tonawanda,
Pvt. Thomas R. Myrtle, of
Syracuse. Pfc John Myrtle of the
U. S. Marine corps, Russell Myrtle,
of Wllloughby. O.. and Clair Myrtle,
of Wirkllffe, O.; three sisters, Mrs
Mary Troupe, of Johnstown. Pa..
Mrs. Belle Bennett, of Cherry Tree.
Pa., and Mrs. Jean Berry, of Glencampbell.
Pa . and 21 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 1 o'clock from
the residence and half an hour later
at the lFrst Baptist church. The
Rrv. Clarence Hayden will conduct
the rites Interment will be in
Elmlawn cemetery.
