    ceremony performed by the

    Prince of Peace Church
    Saturday (Feb. 15, 1969).
    The bride is the daughter
    of Mrs. Rose Tirabassi, 9470
    Pine Ave., and the late Benjamin
    T i r a b a s s i . The
    bridegroom is the son of Mr.
    and Mrs. Santo Virga, 1061
    101st St.
    Given in marriage by her
    brother, Benjamin Tirabassi,
    the bride was attired in a
    princess style gown of gardenia
    silk organza fashioned
    with a Florentine neckline
    accented with lace appliques
    trimmed with pearls and
    crystals, long tapered sleeves
    and a floating chapel train.
    Her veil, a waterfall mantilla
    of silk illusion, was edged in
    peau d' ange lace and she
    carried a cascade of white
    roses and stephanotis centered
    with an orchid.
    Mrs. Thomas O'Leary, matron
    of honor, wore a candy
    pink chiffon gown with long
    puff sleeves edged with tiny
    flowers and accented at the
    empire bodice with an olive
    velvet bow. A cluster of petals
    and puffs secured her bouffant
    veil and she carried a
    bouquet of; deep pink carnations
    and roses. Similarly attired
    in petal pink were the
    bridesmaids, Miss Virginia
    Virga, s i s t e r of the
    bridegroom, Miss Linda
    Tirabassi and Miss Linda
    •Bruno.
    John Zimmerman was best
    man. Ushers were Donald
    Hetrick, Ross Zimmerman
    and Timothy Bailey.
    A brunch and evening dinner
    and reception were held
    at the Como Restaurant.

    Mr. Tirabassi
    died Thursday
    (Jan. 14,
    1965). He wa
    pronunced
    dead on admis-
    sion to Memor-
    ial Hospital. Death was at-
    tributed to a heart attack.
    He was born in New York
    City, the son of Mr. a id Mrs.
    Salvatore Tirabassi, and had
    lived in Niagara Falls for 46
    years. He was a member of
    the Bishop Duffy Men's Club,
    the Niagara Falls Area Cham-
    ber of Commerce, the YMCA,
    the United Mote Business
    Association and the Hoy
    Name Society of Prince of
    Peace Church.
    He graduated from Niagara
    Fallsl High School and, during
    the earlly '30s, played guard
    with the Niagara Falls Rang-
    ers and the Stone Gordons
    football teams and also play-
    ed semi-professional baseball
    with the Elperts team as a
    second baseman.
    Mr. Tirabassi opened the
    Bell-Aire Motel in 1949. Prior
    to that year he had been em-
    ployed for 18 years as a chem-
    ical operaor at the Oldbury
    Electro-Chemical Co.
    He is susrvived y his wid-
    ow, Rose Tirabassi; one son,
    Benjamin Tirabassi Jr.,, and
    one daughter, Miss Sally Tira-
    bassi, all of Niagara Falls; two
    brothers, Santo and Alfred
    Tirabassi and three sisteers,,
    Mrs. Laurino (Filomina)
    D'Amico,, Miss Stella Tirabas-
    si, and Miss Antoinette Tira-
    bassi,, all of Niagara Falls.
    Friends may call at the
    funeral home from 5 p.m. to
    10 p..m. today and 1 to 10 p..m.
    Saturday and Sunday.

    died Friday (October 27, 1972).
    in Mount St. Mary's Hospital
    after a long illness.
    Born in Rome, Italy, he came
    to Niagara Falls in 1905 and
    was a partner in the Niagara
    Auto Supply Inc. for 26 years.
    He was active in business until
    his illness one year ago.
    He was a member of the
    Cristoforo Colombo Society.
    He is survived by his wife,
    Mrs. Anna Bruno; four sons,
    Joseph, James and Rocco
    Bruno, Niagara Falls, and
    Michael Bruno, Detroit, Mich.;
    a daughter, Mrs. Rose
    Tirabassi, Niagara Falls; a
    brother, Angelo Octovano,
    Reviha, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren;
    11 great grandchildren
    and several nieces
    and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held
    at the M. J. Colucci Funeral
    Chapel, Tuesday at 8:45 a.m.
    and at Our Lady of Mount
    Carmel Roman Catholic
    Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will
    be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
    Recitation of prayers will be
    held Monday at 8 p.m. at the
    funeral chapel. Friends may
    call there from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9
    p.m. Sunday and Monday.
