    KRAFT, EDNA L. (nee Wittkopp), age 85 of Niagara Falls, NY and formerly of the City of Tonawanda, December 22, 2021 at her residence under the care of Hospice. Wife of the late William R. Kraft who died in 2001, mother of William (Kathy), Robert, Lori and Linda Kraft, grandmother of Jason Kraft, Ashley Eisenhauer, Arron Kraft and the late Justin Kraft, great grandmother of Tyler, Hayden and Kaylee Kraft, daughter of the late Edward and Alvina Wittkopp, sister of Donald Wittkopp, Kathy (Sam) Marranca, Cindy Conrad and the late Ruth Voss, Edward "Micky" Wittkopp and Karen Clark. Also many nieces and nephews. Edna had been employed by SUNY Buffalo and was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tonawanda. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Dec. 28th from 3-7 PM at JOHN 0. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts) in Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday Dec. 29th. Everyone welcome.     NORTH TONAWANDA Edward A. Wittkopp, 59, of 261 Hinds St., died Saturday (May 13, 1972) in DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Wallmore (sic-sp). he had lived in this city for the last 37 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Goodfellowship Club. Association of the Blind, and Buttons Shoestring Club. He is survived by his wife, Alvina Ackerman Wittkopp; five daughters Mrs. William (Edna) Kraft. Mrs. Edward Ruth) Voss. and Mrs. Robert (Karen) Clark.     WALMORE, N.Y., Sept. 19-Phil-
    lip A. Wittkopp, 64, retired farmer,
    of the Lockport road, died today at
    a Lockport hospital after a long
    period of failing health. Mr. Wlttkopp
    had pneumonia about a year
    ago and never fully recovered. He
    was born on the Lockport road farm
    and was a farmer there until most
    of the land was sold when the Bell
    Aircraft plant was built. Since then
    he had worked at a Tonawanda
    plant. He was a member of st. Peters
    church, Walmore, and was active
    In its organizations.
    Mr. Wittkopp. is survived by his
    wife, Mrs, Anna Profrock Wittkopp
    at home three sons, Clarence, of
    Niagara Falls, NY., and Raymond
    and Edward, both of Tonawanda; one-
    daughter, Mrs. Donald Wendt.
    at home; one sister, Mrs. A. Lang,
    of Niagara Falls, N.Y.., and nine
    grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held from
    the home Saturday afternoon at 2:30
    o'clock and at 3 o'clock at St. Peters

    Man Struck By Train, Killed
    NORTH TONAWANDA, July 8.-Believed to have been struck by a southbound passenger train of the New York Central railroad's Niagara Falls branch at the Washington street crossing, the lifeless body of Christian Proeforck (sic), 74 years old, of 44 Stenzil (sic) street, was found this afternoon in a ditch beside the railroad track. The body was badly mangled and was ordered removed to Ramp's funeral home, in Adams street, by Coroner Jacob Helwig, who investigated the accident. He said that there were indications that the man was struck on the crossing and had been dead about an hour. It was learned that there is a southbound train which passes over the New York Central tracks at that point at about noon and authorities believe that this train struck the man, its crew unaware of the accident. He is survived by his wife, Wilhelmina Proeforck (sic); five sons, John, of Tonawanda, August, of St. Johnsburg, and Edward, William and George, of North Tonawanda; three daughters, Mrs. Philip Witkopf and Mrs. Rudolph Blank, of Walmore, Mrs. Arnold Weyers, of North Tonawanda; one brother, August, of North Tonawanda, and one sister, Mrs. Gustave Schendel, of Nashville. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 3:30 o'clock from the home and 4 o'clock from St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran church. Interment will be in St. Mark's cemetery, Niagara Falls boulevard.

    Stenzel street. Born in Germany, she had resided in North Tonawanda 76

    Blank of Walmore and Mrs. Otto Weyers of North Tonawanda; five sons, john of
    Tonawanda and August, Edward, William and George of North Tonawanda; 24
    grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren., and a sister, Mrs. Edward Smith.
    Rites will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 from the residence and at 2:30 from
    the St. Mark's Lutheran church. The Rev. Paul Fretthold will officiate.
