Herman Mietz
MIDDLEPORT - Herman J. Mietz, 58, of 9031 Telegraph Road, died Friday (Oct. 9, 1964) in Medina Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for the last 15 days following a heart attack. He was born June 17, 1906, In the Town of Royalton, the son of Herman and Christine Krebs Mietz, and has always resided in this vicinity. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, and of the church council. Mr. Mietz had been a member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau for many years. Survivors include his widow, the former Ruth Hofert; also a daughter, Mrs. Robert Malone; and three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Erin and Kristen Malone, all of Allen Park, Mich; a brother, Walter P. Mietz, 6361 Meadville Road, Middleport, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wallace and Heath Funeral Home and on Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville. Services will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. Herman Ewald officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery

Mietz Rites Held Tomorrow
Middleport, NY
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon for Mrs. Christine Mietz at the home of her son, Walter Mietz at 2:30 o'clock and at Trinity Lutheran Church at Wolcottsville, NY. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran cemetery. The Rev. Herman Ewald will officiate. Mrs. Mietz, formerly Christine Kerbs, died on Monday after a long illness. She leaves her husband. Herman Mietz, and three sons, Karl. Herman
and Walter Mietz: five brothers, Gottfrled, Martin, Gottlob, Christian and Fred Kerbs three sisters, Mrs. Charles Duff, Elizabeth and Helena Kerbs.
