    Norma L. Human  of Sanborn, NY, passed away on  Monday, August 19, 2019, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on January 30, 1934, the daughter of the late Arnold and Velma [Borget] Lindhurst.
    Mrs. Human graduated from Hickory College and Bryant and Stratton.
    She helped run the family greenhouse business in Sanborn and was also a cashier at Tops  for over 10 years, before retiring in 2009.
    Mrs. Human was a Girl Scout leader and a member of several senior groups in the area. 
    She was an avid quilter, crafter and loved traveling.
    Mrs. Human was the wife of the late Roger L. Human, who passed away in 1988.  She is survived by her children Ronald (JoMarie) and Neil (Theresa) Human, Gail (Paul) Perona and Cathleen Gates, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
    Her family will be present on Wednesday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10AM with Rev. Kurt Schultz, officiating.
    Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.
    Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.

    Velma M. Lindhurst Lewiston woman moved to Sanborn SANBORN — Velma M. (Borget) Lindhurst, 85, of Saunders Settlement Road died Sunday Jan. 3, 1993) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a long Illness. Mrs. Lindhurst was born in Ransomville on July 7, 1907, to William and Louise (Schultz) Borget. She was the wife of the late Arnold H. Lindhurst, who died in 1988. Mrs. Lindhurst had lived in Lewiston for 60 years before moving to Sanborn two years ago. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Cambria. Mrs. Lindhurst loved sewing and embroidery. Surviving is a daughter, Norma Human of Sanborn; a brother, Wilfred Borget of Lockport; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lilly Rohring. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, where the Rev. David Musall will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Saint Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Cambria. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or to the Cambria Fire Company Ambulance Fund.

    of this city, pleasantly entertained
    at a variety shower, at the home,
    of Mrs. Rohrtng. In honor of her
    sister. Miss Velma Borget of Ran-
    somville. a bride-elect of this month.
    The rooms were prettily decorated
    in yellow and white, while yellow
    and white chrysanthemums
    formed the table decorations.
    Games were played and prizes
    awarded to Mrs. Clarence Trusdale,
    Mrs. James Farquharson. Mrs. Her-
    bert Seelofl. Mrs. Fred Beabert, and
    Mrs. Clarence Hlllmon.
    At 5 o'clock a supper was served
    to some forty guests and the brideelect
    received many pretty and useful
    gifts.

    Former Manager Of Farm Dies
    Herman J. Lindhurst, 81 of Estes Place, Ransomville, died Friday, (April 30, 1965) at Ransomville General Hospital. Born in the Town of Lewiston, March 17, 1884, Mr. Lindhurst had been manager of the Kelly Fruit Farms in Lewiston for 43 years. Just before his retirement, he served as custodian for the Lewiston-Porter School District for five years. A resident of Ransomville for the past 14years, he had served on the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Council for the past nine years, and also served on the new church building committee. Mr. Lindhurst is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helene Jacobs Lindhurst; a son, Arnold Lindhurst of Lewiston; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Schendel of Lockport; two brothers, Fred Lindhurst of Ransomville and Elwood of Youngstown and three sisters, Mrs. Richard Whitt of Ransomville, Mrs. Herman Doeblar (sp.) of North Tonawanda and Mrs. Stanley Forsey of Niagara Falls. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hardison Funeral Home, South Lake Street, Ransomville, with the Rev. Carl Oldach officiating.     CAMBRIA - Helene A. Lindhurst, 100, of Ridge Road, died Thursday (July 28,1988) at home. Born in Cambria, she moved to Lewiston after her marriage to the late Herman J. Lindhurst. She assisted her husband in managing fruit farms for the J.W.H. Kelly Farms for 40 years until the farm was sold. In the Tri-County News, a Lockport area newpaper (sic), in January 1986, she reminisced: "Saturday was chicken day," Mrs. Lindhurst said. "I always prepared four for the Kelly's Sunday dinner and two for our family. The peaches were graded by another crew of workers, and then loaded in Lewiston and shipped green as grass to Pittsburgh. We had lots of hobos, and I never refused them something to eat." She and her husband moved to Ransomville after retiring in 1951. They lived there for 15 years until her husband's death in 1965, when she moved back to Cambria. Mrs. Lindhurst was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge, where she was baptized, confirmed and married. She was also a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She is survived by a son, Arnold Lindhurst of Lewiston; a daughter, Marion Schendel of Cambria; and five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lindhurst was the daughter of the late Frederick and Whilhelmina (sic) (Erck) Jacobs and sister of the late Rachel Seefeldt, Bertha Simmons, Emma Strablow, Ella Dobbertean Sack, Frank Jacobs, William Jacobs and Albert Jacobs.     Mrs. Jacobs leaves three sons, Frank

    62 years. She was the widow of Fred
