    PAINTED POST - The marriage of Miss
    Dorothy Elizabeth Stine, daughter of Mr. and
    Mrs. Jerid Stine, 131 Steuben St., and Ron_
    aid E. Braden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
    Braden, 2829 Elm St., Sanborn, was solemnized
    Feb. 10, 1968, at First Presbyterian Church.
    The Rev. E. Ellwood Carey officiated.
    Escorted by her father, the bride wore a
    gown of white organza fashioned with scoop
    neckline, fitted Chantilty l a c e bodice and
    A-line skirt with scalloped lace at the hemline.
    A three.tiered elbow-length veil of English
    illusion was secured by a princess crown of
    seed pearls. She carried, her mother's Bible
    topped with white orchids.

    MISS JOAN E. BREINER, Havertown', Pa.,
    was maid of honor. Her rouge red chiffon velvet
    gown was designed with semi-emp:re
    waistline and A-line skirt with full matching
    back panel. Her white fur pillbox was worn
    with a red circlet veil and she carried a white
    fur muff trimmed with red sweetheart roses
    and ivy.
    . Mrs. James Reynolds, Big Flats, and Miss
    Beatrice Hardenburg, Corning, bridesmaids,
    wore similarly styled gowns. Their headpieces
    were red velvet bows centered with white fur
    pompons.

    ALAN BILLS, Phoenix, Ariz.," was b e st
    man. Ushers were Galen Treichler, Luling,
    La., Robert and Gerald Treichler. Sanborn, all
    cousins of the bridegroom;, and Eugene Drinwine,
    Corning..
    A wedding reception was held in the ballroom
    of the Baron Steuben Hotel.
    Mr. and Mrs. Braden are now residing at
    140 Pulteney St., Corning. Mr. Braden is a
    mortician with Phillips Funeral Homes, and
    manager of the Painted Post branch.

    SANBORN - Mrs. Minnie M.
    Evans, 81, died Friday (Nov. 14,
    1958) at her home, Niagara St.,
    after an illness of several
    weeks. She was the widow of
    Asher Evans, who died in 1946.
    Born in Ridgeway, Ohio
    Dec. 5, 1876, Mrs. Evans was a
    daughter of the late James and
    Ruth Williams Ansley. She was
    married in 1896 in Kenton,
    Ohio, and the couple resided
    in Newark Valley, N.Y., until
    the death of Mr. Evans, when
    she came to Sanborn.
    Mrs. Evans was a member
    of Sanborn Methodist Church
    and its AOM Sunday School
    Class, Sanborn Rebekah Lodge
    No. 668 and the Stamp Club of
    Niagara Falls.. .
    Surviving are a son, Ward
    Evans, Miami, Fla.; two daughters.
    Mrs. Melvin Treichler
    a n d Mrs. Clarence Braden,
    both of Sanborn; nine grandchildren
    and 14 great-grandchildren;
    and two sisters. Mrs.
    Edward Shaw, N o r t h Mansfield,
    Ohio, and Mrs. Chris
    Copp, Ridgeway, Ohio. A third
    daughter, Mrs. Mark Treichler,
    died a year ago.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Monday at the
    Pike and Jones Funeral Home
    by the Rev. W. Donald Housser.
    Burial will be in Mt View
    Cemetery.
    The Rebekah Lodge will hold
    a memorial service at the funeral home
    at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
