Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, in the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.  He was born in Sanborn,  on July 24, 1931, the son of the late Floyd W. and Helen F. [Post] Treichler. 
Mr. Treichler graduated from Wilson High School and from Erie County Technical Institute.  He served with the US Navy, during the Korean War.
Mr. Treichler was employed with Niagara Mohawk and later with the New York Power Authority for over 20 years, before retiring in 1993. He was a very active member of the Community Bible Church.
Mr. Treichler loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of  59 years, Nancy [Wright] Treichler,  two sons D. Thomas W. (Paige) Treichler and Larry Treichler, two daughters Carol Treichler-Caswell and Vicki Price, one sister Gloria (late Ronald) Carlisle, also thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

His family will be present on Friday from 4 - 7:00 PM  at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road SANBORN, NY and on Saturday from 10-11:00 AM at the Community Bible Church,  4168 Church Road, Lockport, NY, where funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM,  with the  Rev. Brad Delp officiating. 

Memorials may be made in his name to the Church Building Fund.

Inurnment with military honors in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.

Martin F. Wright, 80, of
5714 Buffalo Ave., the first
Carborundum Co. employe to
complete 50 years of service,
died today (July 3, 1963) in
Memorial Hospital, a f t e r a
short illness.
Born in Butler, Pa., he came
here as a boy with his parents.
He a t t e n d e d local
schools and began work with
the Carborundum Co. in 1898.
He served as foreman in
various departments during
his half-century of employment.
Mr. Wright was a member
of Odd Fellows Lodge No.
81, Junior Order of United
American Mechanics, and Retired
Mens Service Club.
He retired from Carborun
dum on July 1, 1948.,
He is survived by his wife,
Byrd. E. W r i g h t ; two sons,
Harold Wright, this city, and
Arthur L. Wright, Logan,
Ohio, and a daughter, Mrs.
Estella Carpenter, Kenmore.
A brother, Frank Wright,
this city, seven grandchildren,
and two great-grandchildren
also survive.
Funeral services will be
held at 1:30 p.m. -Saturday at
the Cornell and Daggett Funeral
Home. Rev. Andrew
Turnipseed will officiate. Bur
ial will be in Riverdale cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral
home from 2 p.m. to 4
p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning
today.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie
Wright, 69. of 2245 Whitney avenue,
will be held at 2 pm. Monday at
Cobler's Funeral home.
Mrs. Wright died at the Me-
morial hospital today following a
long illness.
Born in Niagara Falls, Mrs.
Wright lived here all her life. She
attended the Cleveland avenue
school and the Niagara Falls High
school.
Surviving are her husband, Martin
F. Wright: two sons. Harold F.
Wright and Arthur L. Wright, this
city; a daughter. Mrs. Estella G
Carpenter. Buffalo; a sister, Mrs
Frank W. Wolfe, this city a n d
seven grandchildren.
The Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer
will officiate at the services. Burial w i ll be in Riverdale cemetery.
