    Marjorie Jean Hedden, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at her residence under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice.    She was born in Niagara Falls, NY,  on July 6, 1928, a daughter of the late Galen Mark and Pauline [Evans] Treichler. Mrs. Hedden graduated from Wilson High School and from Morrisville technical College.   She worked at her families business C.F. Treichler Green house over the years. Mrs. Hedden was a charter member of Tri-Community Ambulance and a was  member of the Sanborn Historical Society. She enjoyed quilting and attending church while living in Virginia. She was the wife of the late Gilbert D. Hedden, who passed away in December of 1997.    Mrs. Hedden is survived by her daughter, Suzanne M. Allan, two sons Timothy D. (Linda P.) and Jack E. (Maryann) Hedden, Sr.,  a brother Galen M. Treichler, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews & cousins. She was the sister of the late Joan Zuch. Private Funeral Service were held at the wishes of her family. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice. Inurnment in Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin.

    SANBORN - Mrs. Pauline
    Evans Treichler, 50, of Saunders
    Settlement Rd., died today (Dec. 3,
    1957) in a Buffalo hospital after
    a lengthy illness.
    Born in Canton, Ohio, on Jan.
    II, 1907, Mrs; Treichler was the
    daughter of Asher and Minnie
    Evans.
    Her husband, G. Mark Treichler,
    is a member of the firm of C. F.
    Treichler &Sons, one of the leading
    florist concerns in Western
    New York.
    Mrs. Treichler took an active interest
    in her husband's business
    and, until her recent illness; had
    been responsible for most of the
    firm's floral arrangements. She
    was a member of the Sanborn
    Methodist Church and its Asbury
    Circle, of Ihe Home Demonstration
    Department of the Extension
    Service and the Home Craft Club.
    Surviving in addition to Her
    husband and mother, are a daughter,
    Mrs. Marjorie Hedden, and a
    son, Galen Treichler, both of Sanborn;
    a brother, Ward Evans, Miami,
    Fla; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth
    Treichler and Mrs. Laura Braden
    both of Sanborn and five grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at the Pike Funeral Home
    at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev.
    Donald Houssen Burial will be in
    Mt. View Cemetery, Pekin.

    F. Treichler, 78, died at his home,
    Saunders Settlement road, yesterday
    after a prolonged illness.
    Mr. Treichler Is survived by his
    wife. Florence Nichols, at home; a
    daughter. Mrs. Clifford Campbell,
    West street; four sons, G. Mark
    Treichler, Wilbur E. Treichler,
    Charles Lloyd Treichler, of Saunders
    Settlement road, and Harold
    E. Treichler. Ward road; four brothers,
    Lorin W. Treichler, Dunellen,
    N. J.. Dr. Claude L. Treichler. Philadelphia,
    Pa., Abram B. Treichler,
    Colonial village, and Harry J. Treichler,

    avenue; Mrs. William Truesdale, West
    street; Mrs. William N. Langworthy,
    Rochester, and Miss Hazel M. Treichler,

    grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
    Mr. Treichler was the eldest son
    of the late Eli J. Treichler and Elizabeth
    Landis Treichler and was born
    September 24, 1874, in the Lockport
    road three miles east of Sanborn.
    He was a successful florist for the
    past 50 years having established his
    business in 1902.
    Mr. Treichler was a former member
    ot Pekin Grange, a member of
    Lewiston Rotary club, of which he
    Was I past president, a member and
    past president of Sanborn Volunteer
    Fire-company and a member of San-
    born Lions club. He was a trustee
    of Sanborn school, District 8, for 27
    years and a member of Lewiston
    Town Board for 23 years.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday
    at 2 p. m. at the Pike Fu-
    neral home, Hoover road, where
    friends may call this evening and
    thereafter. The Rev. George Bost,
    Lewiston. will officiate. Interment
    will be in Mount View cemetery
    Pekin.

    SANBORN - Mrs. Minnie M.
    Evans, 81, died Friday (Nov. 14,
    1958) at her home, Niagara St.,
    after an illness of several
    weeks. She was the widow of
    Asher Evans, who died in 1946.
    Born in Ridgeway, Ohio
    Dec. 5, 1876, Mrs. Evans was a
    daughter of the late James and
    Ruth Williams Ansley. She was
    married in 1896 in Kenton,
    Ohio, and the couple resided
    in Newark Valley, N.Y., until
    the death of Mr. Evans, when
    she came to Sanborn.
    Mrs. Evans was a member
    of Sanborn Methodist Church
    and its AOM Sunday School
    Class, Sanborn Rebekah Lodge
    No. 668 and the Stamp Club of
    Niagara Falls.. .
    Surviving are a son, Ward
    Evans, Miami, Fla.; two daughters.
    Mrs. Melvin Treichler
    a n d Mrs. Clarence Braden,
    both of Sanborn; nine grandchildren
    and 14 great-grandchildren;
    and two sisters. Mrs.
    Edward Shaw, N o r t h Mansfield,
    Ohio, and Mrs. Chris
    Copp, Ridgeway, Ohio. A third
    daughter, Mrs. Mark Treichler,
    died a year ago.
    Funeral services will be conducted
    at 2 p.m. Monday at the
    Pike and Jones Funeral Home
    by the Rev. W. Donald Housser.
    Burial will be in Mt View
    Cemetery.
    The Rebekah Lodge will hold
    a memorial service at the funeral home
    at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
