    SANBORN, N. Y.-Mrs. Ida I.
    Treichler, 66 years old, died this
    morning at 6 o'clock at her home in
    the Town Line road, after an illness
    of four weeks. Mrs. Treichler was
    the widow of Frank L. Treichler.
    She Is survived by one son, Ralph
    L. Treichler, at home; two sisters,
    Mrs. Etta Rose Starr and Miss
    Ervena W. Rose, both of Cedar
    Falls, Iowa.
    The funeral will be held Sunday
    at 2:30 o'clock at the home. The
    Rev. Frank N. Taft, of the Baptist
    church, will officiate, interment
    will be In Mountain View cemetery
    at Pekin, N. Y.
    Mrs. Treichler was a daughter of
    the late Elmlra Robinson and Galen

    Rose and was born In the Rose
    Homestead, In the Saunders Settletent
    road. She was a member of
    the First Baptist church and
    treasurer of the women's auxiliary
    of the church since 1914. She had
    held office In the auxiliary since
    1909. She was an active member
    Of the Pekln Grange, No. 1202, and
    Of Cataract Circle, No. 600, Protective
    Home circle, of Niagara
    Falls. She was a member of the
    graduating class of 1903 of Lockport
    high school.
    Her great grandfather, the late
    Jarlus Rose, settled In Sanborn
    In 1811. He had 2,000 acres of land
    In this community. Her mother was
    a charter member of the Sanborn
    Baptist church. Mrs. Treichler had
    resided in this vicinity all her life.

    man Sr., 81, of Thrall Rd.,
    Town of Cambria, a prominent
    fruit and dairy farmer and former
    town official, died today
    (July 31, 1959) at his home. He
    had been confined to bed with'
    ill health recently. .
    Mr. Blackman, was born
    Aug. 28, 1878, in Cambria, son
    of pioneer residents Isaac B.
    and Mary A. Blakeman Blackman..

    clerk, justice of the peace for
    26 years, town supervisor from
    1930. to 1934, was a past president
    of the Niagara County
    Farm Bureau and the 4-H Club
    Assn.* was an agent and director
    of the Erie and Niagara
    County F a r m e r s Insurance
    Assn., president of the North
    Ridge BUrial Assn. and a member
    of the Cambria Congregational
    Church, where he served
    as a trustee for 50 years.
    Mr. Blackman is survived by
    his wife, the former Mae A;
    Hoag; a son, Waiter E. Blackman
    Jr., Cambria; a daughter,
    Mrs. Ralph L. Treichler, Sanborn,
    and four grandchildren.
    The Rev. David Munro, pastor
    of Cambria Congregational
    Church, will officiate at services
    at 3 p.m. Sunday at the
    Prudden & Kandt Funeral
    Home, Lockport. Burial will be
    in North Ridge Cemetery.

    Blackman, 89, of 4472 Thrall
    Road, Town of Cambria, died
    Sunday (Oct. 17,1971) at Lockport
    Memorial Hospital after a
    brief illness.
    She was born in the Town of
    Somerset May 8, 1882,- the
    daughter, of Thomas and
    Ixmise Forsythe Hoag, and
    lived in the Town of Cambria
    for 65 years.
    She served as clerk for the
    Cambria United Church of
    Christ for many years, and was
    a former member of the board
    of directors of the .Home
    Department, Cooperative
    Extension Service and a
    charter member of the
    Cambria Volunteer Fire Co.
    Auziliary.
    She was the wife of Walter E.
    Blackman who died in 1959. She
    is survived by a daughter, Mrs.
    Ralph (Helen) Treichler of
    Sanborn; a son, Walter E.
    Blackman Jr., of Cambria;
    three grandsons, Roger and
    Gordon Treichler of Sanborn
    and Robert Blackman of
    Cambria and a graddaughter,
    Mrs. Harold (Barbara) Hartwig;
    six great-grandchildren
    and a sister, Mrs. Harriet
    Capen of Lockport.
    Friends may call from 7 to 9
    p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4
    and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the
    Prudden and Kandt Funeral
    Home, 242 Genesee St,, where
    services will be held at 11 a.m.
    Wednesday. The Rev. L.
    Russell Foster will officiate.
    Burial will be in North Ridge
    Cemetery.
