    Miss Alice Volk, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. Wallace Volk, of Beebe
    road, Newfane, became ,the bride of
    John Widmer, son of Fred Wldmer, of
    Model City road. Lewiston, on Saturday
    at 4:30 o'clock in the parsonage
    of the Presbyterian church, Lewiston,
    the Rev. Gordon Newfang, pastor of
    the church, officiating.
    The bride wore a blue krinkle crepe
    gown with gold trimming and carried
    calla lilies tied with white ribbons.
    Mrs. Fred Widmer, of this city, who
    was matron of honor, was. attired in
    brown crepe with orange trimming.
    Her bouquet was talisman roses with
    gold tuHe. Mrs. Volk, the bride's
    mother, wore a navy blue flowered
    crepe gown. Fred Widmer attended
    the groom.
    A reception for the immediate families

    was held flowing the ceremony
    at the home of the bride's parents.
    Covers were laid for 13 guests at the
    bride's table which was centered with
    spring flowers of white and yellow.
    Mr. and Mrs. Wldmer left on a trip
    through eastern New York and on
    their return they win make their
    home In Model City. The.bride traveled
    in a tan suit with brown accessories.
    Mrs. Widmer was entertained
    before her marriage at a shower given
    by the Busy Bee club of the Newfane
    Baptist church and a shower given by
    her sister, Mrs. Fred Trippensee, of

    at Harding's Restaurant,
    Youngstown. The occasion
    marked their 25th wedding
    anniversary.
    After dinner, the celebration

    of the honor guests where
    a decorated cake and other
    -refreshments were served to

    NEWFANE - Mrs. Matilda
    Schultz Volk, 79, of 2826 Beebe
    Road, died today (Aug. 28,
    1965) at Mount View Hospital,
    Lockport, where she had been
    a patient for 13 days.
    She was born in the Town
    of Cambria, June 29, 1886, a.
    daughter of Ernest and Lena
    Meyers Schultz. She was married
    Dec. 23, 1908, in Lockport,
    a n d had lived in the
    Town of W i l s o n , near the
    Newfane town line, since 1914.
    Survivors include her husband,
    W a l l a c e Volk; two
    d a u g h t e r s , Mrs. Frederick
    (Florence) T r i p p e n s e e , Se-
    bring, Fla., and Mrs. John
    (Alice) Widmer, Appleton; a
    son, Wallace Leo Volk, Newfane;
    a s i s t e r , Mrs. Elmer
    (Edith) Wilkens, and a brother,
    Charles Schultz, both of
    Ransomtille; also 10 grandchildren
    and t h r e e greatgrandchildren.
    Friends may call at the Ken-,
    neth H. Sherrie Funeral Home
    starting a-t 2 p.m. Sunday. The
    family will be present from 2
    to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services
    will be held at the funeral
    home at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev.
    John Palmer of West Somer-
    set Baptist Church officiating.
    Burial will be in Wrights Cor-
    ners Cemetery.

    NORTH RIDGE. Oct. 18.-Funeral
    services for Ernest P. Schultz, aged
    84 years, who died early on Friday
    morning at the home of his daughter,
    Mrs, Elmer Wllkins, of the Daniels
    road, were held from the daughter's
    home at 12:30 o'clock on Sunday
    afternoon and at 1 o'clock from
    St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran
    church, of which he had been a
    member for many years, the Rev.
    Carl W. Oldach, pastor, officiated.
    Many beautiful flowers were In
    evidence. These, with the large
    concourse of neighbors and friends,
    showed the esteem in which he was
    held.
    The bearers, all nephews, were:
    William Schultz, of Ransomvllle;
    Fred Schultz, of the Town Line
    road; Edward Schultz, of Cambria;
    Amiel Schultz. of Ridge road, town
    of Lewlston, Walter Schultz, of the
    Frog Hollow road, and Herman
    Schultz, of the town of Newfane.
    Burial was in St. Peter's Lutheran
    cemetery. .
    Mr. Schultz is survived by one
    son. Charles Schultz, of Ransomvllle;
    two daughters. Mrs, Wilkins,
    of North Ridge, and Mrs. Wallace
    Volk, of the town of Newfane, and
    several, grand children. He died of
    old age infirmities,

    Ernst married MEIER, Caroline on 17 Feb 1882 in North Ridge, Town of Cambria, Niagara County, NY. Caroline was born on 12 Dec 1852 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany; died on 8 Feb 1931 in North Ridge, Town of Cambria, Niagara County, NY. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Schultz, 79, wife of Ernest, died yes-
    terday at the family home here.
    Funeral services will be held Thursday
    afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home
    and at 2:30 from St. Peter's Lutheran
    church here. The Rev. John Barkow
    will officiate. Interment will be in
    St. Peter's cemetery here.
    Besides the husband, Mrs. Schultz is
    survived by the following children,

    fane; Mrs. Elmer Wilkins of Lockport
    and Charles of Ransomville.
