WOLCOTTSVILLE. Oct. 29 - August C. Mietz. 49, died yesterday at his home in Wolcottsville, leaving his wife. Dora Tryloff Mietz, two brothers, Herbert of Hartland, and Albert of Wolcottsville, two sisters, Mrs: Benjamin Haseley of West Shelby and Mrs. Joseph Helms of Dysinger and his father. John Mietz of Wolcottsville.

Dora T. Palmer, 81, of Medina, died unexpectedly Sunday at Mercy Hospital,Buffalo.Mrs. Palmer was born Oct. 5,1897, in the Town of Royalton,the daughter of August and Augusta Ratzlaff Tryloff.She was a homemaker and had lived in Medina for the past five years. Prior to that she had lived in Middleport.She was a member of the Wolcottsville Golden Agers and St. Michael's Lutheran Church,Wolcottsville.Surviving are a brother,Willis Tryloff of Wolcottsville;a sister, Mrs. Albert (Marie) Maass of Lockport; three stepchildren, Leland Palmer of Albion, Bertha Meyer of Lockport and Gloria Tothill of Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call tonight (7-9) and Tuesday (2-4 and 7-9) at the Bates, Wallace and Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St.,Middleport, and Wednesday (1-2) at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. William Dallmann officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.Memorials may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church organ fund.

Mrs. August Mietz of Wolcottsville and Mrs. Albert Maass of Royalton, one brother, Fred, and one sister, Mrs. Gottlieb Wagner, of Wolcottsville. The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 o'clock at the residence and at 3:30 o'clock at St. Michael's Lutheran church. Burial will be in St, Michael's cemetery, the Rev. Fred Schleef officiating.

MIDDLEPORT, March 26 - Mary Mietz, aged 90, widow of William Mietz, died yesterday, at the home of her son. Henry Mietz, Wolcottsville. She to survived by eight sons and three daughters. Mrs. Mietz was born in Germany, and has been a resident of this country for 73 years. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from trinity Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville.

WOLCOTTSVILLE, Feb. 23. Albert Retzlaff, 72 years oId, died yesterday afternoon at the home of daughter, Mrs. August Tryloff of this village. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the St, Michael's Lutheran church here with the Rev. Frederick Schleef, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Wolcottsvllle cemetery. Mr. Retzlaff has been a resident in this vicinity all his life and was one of the best known and most high respected citizens of Wolcottsville. Besides Mrs. Tryloff, he is survived by three other children, John, Edward, both of this place, Henry, of Lockport, 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.

Wolcottsville Folk Pay Last Respects To Albert Retzlaff
Wolcottsville. March 5 - The funeral of Albert Retzlaff was held last Friday afternoon at St. Michael's church, Rev. Frederick Schleef officiating. The bearers were August Klienhans, John Tiefel, John C. Fink, John Meitz, Fred Wollenburg and Lebrecht Haseley. Mr. Retzlaff for many years conducted a grocery store beside working his farm. He had many friends in this locality. He was a resident of Wolcottsville for about forty-five years. His many friends were shocked to hear of his sudden death.
