    One of the loveliest weddings of
    the season took place in St. Paul's
    Lutheran church, Victoria avenue,
    this afternoon when Miss Louise
    Madeline Bergman, daughter of Mr.
    and Mrs. John Bergman, was unit-
    edin marriage to Harold Robert
    Tubbe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert
    Tubbe, Ottawa, Ont. The ceremony
    was performed by the rector, the
    Rev. M.C. Weissbach. The chancel
    was banked with gladioli and palms.
    White satin bows designated the
    guest pews. Miss Vivian Kretzmann
    played the wedding music. During
    the signing of the register, Mrs. A.
    Ruch sang "I Love You Truly."
    The bride who was given in mar-
    riage by her father, wore a beautiful
    white chiffon gown, shirred at the
    waist, made with a long full skirt,m
    bolero jacket with short sleeves and
    Peter Pan collar. She wore a long
    white veil with halo crown caught
    with lily-of-the-valley, white lace
    mitts and white satin sandals. Her
    bouquet was of white roses tied
    with white satin ribbon. Miss Lisa
    Bergman, sister of the bride whp
    was maid of honor, was gowned in
    azure blue chiffon made on the
    same style as the bride's gown. She
    wore a halo hat of a matching color
    with shoulder veil, blue lace mitts
    and sandals. She carried a bouquet
    of pink rose buds tied with pink chi-
    fon ribbon.
    The bridesmaid. Miss Mary Gibson
    wore a shell pink chiffon gown
    similar design to that of the maid of
    honor, with matching accessories.
    She carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds
    tied with pink chiffon ribbon.
    Edmund Tubbe. brother of the
    groom, was the best man. The ushers
    were John Bergman. Jr.. brother
    of the bride and Elmer Tubbe,
    brother of the groom.
    Following the ceremony a reception
    was held at the home of the
    bride's parents on Lome street. The
    rooms were attractively decorated
    with afll flowers.
    Mrs. Bergman, the bride's mother,
    was attired in a wine triple sheer
    gown with corsage of pink roses
    and black accessories. The groom's
    mother was gowned in navy blue
    crepe with navy acessories and corsage
    of yellow roses. The bridal table
    with covers for 12 was centered with
    a three tiered wedding cake. The
    guest tables were decorated with
    gladioli. Mr. and Mrs. Tubbe left
    later on a wedding trip to the Eastern
    States. The bride traveled in a
    blue frock with blue coat with wolf
    collar and black suede accessories.
    Upon their return they will reside
    in Ottawa. Guests were present
    from Ottawa and Niagara Falls, N.
    Y.

    Mr. and Mrs. Victor Tubbe,
    8221 Krull Parkway, were call-
    ed today to Ottawa, Ont., by
    the death of Mr. Tubbe's
    father, Albert Tubbe, 87. The
    senior Mr. Tubbe died today
    (Jan 19, 1962).
    Mr. Tubbe Sr. visited here
    often during the more than 40
    years his son has resided in
    the city. His wife died last
    October at the age of 84.
    Surviving in addition to the
    local man are three brothers
    in Ottawa, two in Niagara
    Falls, Int., and a sister in Ot-
    tawa.

    Albert married NOFKEE, Ernestine Johanna on 26 Dec 1895 in Carleton Place, Lanark, Ontario, Canada. Ernestine was born on 4 Jun 1876 in Stupsk, Mazowieckie, Poland; died on 25 Oct 1960 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Woman Dies at 84
    Mr. and Mrs. Victor Tubbe,
    8221 Krull Pkwy., Niagara
    Falls, left Wednesday for Ottawa,
    Ont., to attend the funeral
    of Mr. Tubbe's mother.
    Mrs. Albert Tubbe.
    Mrs. Rubbe died Tuesday at
    the age of 84.
