    Doris H. Tudor, formerly of Cambria, NY, passed away on Wednesday October 26, 2016 in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Born on December 2, 1923 in the Town of Cambria, she was the daughter of Charles and Arlene Jacobs Zastrow. Doris married Walter F. Tudor on December 24, 1942 and he predeceased her on January 17, 2000. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and the Newfane Senior Citizens.
    Predeceased by her husband, Walter F. Tudor, she is survived by her children, Darwin (Joanna) Tudor and Sharon (W. Michael Morrow) Tudor-Morrow; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Private funeral services will be held. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.

    The marriage of Miss Doris Zastrow,
    daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
    Charles H. Zastrow of Lockport
    Road, Sanborn, and Walter F.
    Tudor Jr., of Campbell Boulevard,
    Pendleton, took place at 6:30
    Christmas Eve in the parsonage
    of St Paul's Lutheran Church^
    Niagara Falls boulevard.
    The ceremony was performed by
    the Rev. R. A. Hinners. The bride
    wore a white satin gown with
    sweetheart neckline and a short
    veil. Her corsage was of gardenias.
    The bride's sister, Miss Rose
    Zastrow, who was maid of honor,
    wore a pink gown with a corsage
    of pink roses and sweet peas.
    Arthur Dammen, brother of the
    groom was the best man.
    The bride wore for traveling a
    white wool dress with black accessories.

    The funeral services for Mrs. Rose
    Zastrow (nee Huebner) were held
    Friday afternoon from the home on
    the Buffalo-Niagara' Falls boulevard
    at 2:30 o'clock and half an hour later
    from St. John's church on the Ward
    road. The Rev. Walter Thiemecker
    officiated. Burial was in St, John's
    cemetery.

    William Jacobs was delightfully surprised
    on Sunday, the occasion being
    his fiftieth birthday. Friends and relatives
    were present from Niagara -Falls.
    Lewiston. Lockport. Ransomville,
    Youngstown. Tonawanda and North
    Ridge. The oldest guest was his mother,
    Mrs. Minnie Jacobs of Lewiston,
    who Is 82 years eld. The youngest one
    present was a grand-son. Le Roy Zastrow,
    aged two years, of Martinsville.
    the three children of Mr. and Mrs.
    Jacobs were present, Mrs. Arlene Zastrow,
    of Martinsville, with her husband
    and four children. Lawrence Jacobs of
    Niagara Falls and WUlard Jacobs at
    home. .
    Two brothers, Frank Jacobs of tho
    Million Dollar highway,, and Albert
    Jacobs of the Randall road, and four
    Isisters. Mrs. Emma Strablow of the
    take road. Youngstown. Mrs. Bertha
    Simmons of the Ridge road, Mrs. Ella
    iDobberteau of Niagara Falls, and Mrs.
    Lena Llndhurst of Lewiston.
    A most delicious supper was served
    to the 52 guests from a beautiful apipolnted
    table decorated In pink and
    white with a bounteous birthday cake
    as a center-piece.
    Mr. Jacobs received many beautiful
    and useful gifts. After a pleasant
    evening the guests departed wishing
    ihelr host many more happy birthdays.
